I assume you mean the "blu ray" symbol and the production company symbols. It's as easy as typing them into google image search, and as hard has finding a cover you already have with the symbol and just scanning it. As long as you have a clean one of either they turn out pretty well. I've got a massive collection of random saved symbols on my computer.

I've got Tropic Thunder scanned, give me a day or so to clean it up and I can email it to you.

I have found that flattening out a cover, measuring it, and plugging those dimensions into photoshop works really well for an exact numbers.

Updated the original post and the compendium of replacement covers through this post. Sorry for the long delay between updates, I have been on vacation and moving and working... thus no time.

Still waiting for a Boondock Saints replacement cover. If you cannot find anything good to make it, just say so. Thanks.

Those leather looking Star Wars covers are awesome, but why does it say "From The Journal of the Whills" on the back of them all? What is the meaning behind that?

It is old school Star Wars... The working title originally was "FROM THE ADVENTURES OF LUKE STARKILLER as taken from "The Journal of the Whills." SAGA I: THE STAR WARS"

It is basically a nod to the genius that WAS George Lucas of the 70's and 80's.

Ah, that's pretty cool. Nice Obscure reference. Yeah Lucas today (and in the mid-late 90s) certainly isn't the Lucas from back in those days. I often wonder if there was some way to bring Lucas from the early 80s and time travel him to today to see what his future self has done with the franchise and prequels, what he would think of it.

I just may have to print these covers up and put my DVDs of the movies into Blu-Ray cases until actual Blu-Rays get released. You did an excellent job on them!

By any chance could you make a case for the Clone Wars movie to match these cases?

Well, selfishly I create covers for only what I would use and share them. I went through a spell of doing favors/requests and that is a never ending nightmare, so sorry. But I do appreciate your complements! I do have DVD versions of the SW. I will probably post a link in the near future.

No problem. I don't expect you to do anything you don't want to.

May I just ask this... do you have the basic image for the leather background that you used? If so, would you possibly consider sharing that and I could take a shot at making a Clone Wars version and posting it here?

If you don't want to, that's cool. I just thought that I'd ask.

Canada bpmford Covers - Blu-Series Set

Well, I decided that aside from me wanting my covers to be all in standard blu cases to make everything uniform, I have now decided to create covers to streamline my blus as well(just like my Academy Award Set).

So...I have come up with these, and I think they turned out quite nicely:

Blu-Series Set

All my movies with multiple sequels are combined as sets and indicated as so (Ocean's Set, Austin Powers Set, Batman 'Over The Ages' Set, etc.)

Also, each of my TV seasons have been done with identical front and back images with differentiating spines, the season number is also included.

They are displayed on my shelf!

I have not posted any of them on my cover page as of yet, but if there is interest in them or any other title in the same format, I can make them very easily and post them on my site. PM me if you would like some or other specific titles!

They aren't fancy, but they are clean and neat. They use poster art or DVD art (If only available). Some are unique where the cover art stretches the front and back (like Up). The Sets try to use art from each of the movies released...that's all!

(I have also done some of the covers that will be released this Fall...Kuz I'm looking forward to them!)

Like em' or don't like em', just thought I'd let you know what I've done!

--For a complete list of the titles included in my Blu-Series Click here--

* This list isn't fully up to date!
