Jumping? It's to make it easier to navigate terrain; make it so you don't get stuck on things.

Way to ignore every point, Jumping in XIV is pointless due to the way SE places there hidden walls, it has 0 strategic purpose. You dont use it in battle or in dungeons, or to complete any tasks.

Actually, there is a Gold Saucer event you have to do some platforming. And, I wasn't referring to "hidden walls" but rather fences and other things like that you would otherwise have to go around instead of just jumping over. So, indeed it has a "point" and one that alleviates an annoyance to some degree.

So, why is the game "washed up?"

Well Gold Saucer to me is new so i've yet to get to it, right now I rerolled and am playing Rou/Nin going through just the missions. I am right now needing to unlock 4 dungeons since you dont get them just by doing missions.

I need to open Halatali, Haukke Manor, Brayflox Longstop, Sunked Temple of Quarn for leveling.

I am interested to see how the game has changed at endgame that for me was my biggest gripe. Others ive spoken to have stated that SE changed it so you can keep doing endgame raids until you get something for the week, all be it at a reduced rate but im fine with that. That combined with latency due to install kill moves was always a killer. I still see it in the NA datacenter connections.

Oh wow youre still way early then. I just finally beat the MSQ and now need to unlock the 4.1 70 dungeons. I been crafting too much so thats taken me away from the game. Good news is I probably have way more gil than I will ever need.

Yeah as I said I rerolled, my original character you can see what I had now when I walked away was level 50 everything and was only missing 2 BCOB items for my BRD. When I home I will post its lodestone info.

I've never been active in here, but I wanted to give my 2 cents since I've started dabbling in this game. I prefer my playable characters to have basic motor skills: running, walking, jumping, sitting, squatting. Jumping should be in every rpg. There's really no excuse for a modern AAA rpg not to allow jumping. Even if it's entirely unnecessary for completing the game it should be a mechanic within the game.

And it really doesnt matter to me what past games didn't allow. Old games did a number of dumb things. New games shouldn't repeat the flaws of old games.

Ok SO In my replay heres what im seeing. The community still cant figure out how to dodge bombs or remember basic patterns on primals. I forgot the patterns on the primals. WTF at 100 missions between ARR and Heavensward, and that shy whm who lost her fiance in Thousand Maws of Toto Rak went crazy like every other woman in the world.

Woke up at 2am and was able to buy my first house!! w00t! Nice little land on top of the Mist with a nice ocean view.

Nice im literally just doing missions and getting ilvl 120 gear. Tried queuing for BCOB last night but after an hour couldn't get pty together.

Grats, Bizdaddy. A member of my FC was also able to get a plot right next door to the FC house. Well, that's at least 2 happy people from the bum rush to get land.

So building up towards ilvl 130 here and I totally messed up and did the wrong dungeon last night for my first Relic. Not looking forward to the atma charge to get the relic from ilvl 100 to ilvl 110.

Also finding it very hard to get the extreme battles done as noone seems to do them any longer took over an hour to get into Garuda ex and ppl just gave up after 2 attempts when we had the NM down to 5%.

I have missions for 2.3-2.5 to finish then I think I can move on to Heavensward and start messing around with my machinist job.

Got all my Crafters to 50!!! Just need to get them to 60 in the next 2 weeks before my Road to 60 buff is gone. Shouldnt be too bad if I use my leves and HQ the turn ins.

Past few days ive had no luck doing ex primals, I sit in queue for hours on end.

Garuda for the quest or just the trials roulette? With cross world we can always set up PF and unsync it if its just for quests.

Its the ex quest line as you need to beat them in order Garuda Ex, Titan EX, then Ifrit Ex, etc etc. The hard mode ones are for quest. Since they are not all unlocked for me yet I have to queue Garuda Ex only.

Oh pretty sure can kill unsynced and it counts. Especially if you write first time bonus ppl jump in quick to help for the easy bonus. Let me know if you need help this weekend. I'm always on pretty late.
