Went with a steelbook even though I usually don't get those, for whatever reason this was in stock while the regular edition 4K was not in stock and $22.99 as opposed to $19.99 for the steelbook. No worries.

Really can't wait, this film is one of my all-time favorites.

Best Buy said I could pick it up today, but I guess they are out of stock and had to have it shipped, now I gotta wait till Thursday, so much for pre ordering.....

no best buy's within 250 miles of me have the standard case and my preorder with amazon still hasn't shipped, they said it is still expected to be delivered today though

... I guess I could buy the steelbook and sell it off, it's pretty ugly in my opinion

What would you say how it compares to Star Trek Beyond 4K? I thought ST had a good amount.

Star Trek Beyond wasn't shot on Film. It was digitally recorded.
So it may have some digital noise but no FILM grain.

Got an email, and currently at work. I'm having the wife stop by my local best buy to double check. It's 8:44 here so they are not open for me to call them.

Yeah I went to two Best Buy's and only saw the steelbooks, not a regular copy in sight. Just ordered it from Amazon because I'm not collecting 4K steelbooks. Gonna take an extra week but oh well.

There isn't a $5 reward for this movie, other guy must have just been close to the 250 points... I had this pre ordered since it was announced and didn't get anything extra.

I've noticed the last few Sony 4K releases (after they dropped 3D) all have really cheap slipcovers.

The covers are made from soft paper now that seem to always be already damaged in stores.

The slipcovers seem to be slightly larger than the black case, so the slipcover starts to sag and collapse inwards.

There's five copies of The Professional at my store and they're all damaged to a degree.

I'm holding a Fifth Element Steelbook right now and I wish The Professional also had a Steelbook because Sony Slipcover quality seems to be going down the tubes.
