I made my way through The Adventures of Antoine Doinel box set over the last couple of days. I love The 400 blows but I had never seen the other films. I enjoyed the twenty year character arc, catching up with Antoine at different points in his life. I would recommend it to any fan of the first film.

Criterion Cast is guessing that it could refer to Drunken Angel and Stray Dog upgrades, which would make more sense than my guess of Drunken Angel and White Dog.

Moonshine is often portrayed in the media in a clay jug marked "XXX". Supposedly, the moonshiner would inscribe a single X on the jug each time the mixture passed through a still. This image of a jug or bottle marked XXX is still used in comic strips and cartoons to depict an intoxicating beverage.

Didn't they do a triple clue for the Three Colors trilogy a while back? I know it's being sold as one set, but it's still three films. Maybe Criterion's doing some type of two-pack for Drunken Angel and Stray Dog?
