Is the BluRay the same aspect ratio for the full movie? Or is the Imax footage full screen?

You can't even see certain characters' lips move when they speak! (Masked)Kylo Ren, C-3PO, R2-D2, BB-8, Captain Phasma, all the Stormtroopers except Finn... Etc.

Luke's lip sync is so bad all his dialogue is in the next film!

No, seriously I didn't notice any actual lip sync issues, played on a PS3.

Loved watching the film again, and seeing the bonus features.

I'm thinking of pre ordering Force Awakens today. I know in the US target has 20mins extra footage, are we dong that here? I know then Light/Dark side cover has a bonus disc but is that the only extra extra footage to buy and is it part of the steelbook too?

The whole world has the same Blu Ray - Movie Bu Ray, Extras Blu Ray (US and Canada get the Movie DVD too in a 3 disc set).

Target bonus extras are online only and have to be streamed down. They won't be on a disc.

US/Canada get the better slipcover imo.

Can't decide if I want that steelbook or not. Not only would it be a tenner more expensive than HMV, it'd also take longer to arrive.

I ended up pre-ordering the steelbook. The design could have been so much better, but I've been a massive Star Wars fan for so long I just had to get it.

I'm also getting the standard BD with the darkside slip. The completist in me wants to get the lightside slip, too, but I've resisted (so far).

Although not the same, you might be able to pick up that slip on its own via eBay for around £3 or so. If it's just for ownership sake or shelf spine viewing, put the slip over a blank empty amaray.

Just finished watching my copy. Very good disc.

Bit quiet, same as all the other Star Wars BDs IMO.

Edit: Anyone notice a crackle at the start of General Hux's speech before they fire the big Starkiller Base beam?

Just ordered it from zoom.co.uk. Used the 10% reduction code, and got it in the bag for £13.50.

They are shipping out orders on Wednesday. Upgrade to first class for a good chance of getting it for Thursday.

Great customer service, with all enquiries personally responded to in quick time. I would thoroughly recommend them for all pre-orders.

I see Tesco has a pre-order bonus, but I'm assuming the book is tiny and not worth the paper it's printed on!

Both slips are quite nice, matte finish with spot gloss on the embossing. I think I prefer the Dark Side one though.

Neither do the Marvel films. Disney kindly decided not to put their logo before the films either. They do use the Disney layout for the disc info on the back though.
