That would be a good idea

The last time I was there they were, some titles are excluded, but most of the new releases were included, Ant Man, The Man From Uncle, Mad Max Fury Road, San Andreas, Terminator Genisys et cetera have all been in the offer, but it's been a while since I've been in!

Tesco 2 For £25 on Selected Blu-rays Offer ... We'll have to see if they include The Force Awakens.

Thanks for the pics, do you know if the ratings logos are stickers? And the hexagonal Darkside/Lightside info boxes?

The age ratings are printed on, the darkside/lightside are stickers.

As for the 2 for £25 right now the only offer showing for them is the pre order offer with the book.

They look too well positioned to be stickers but nice to see a ratings free spine.

Thanks. That makes these an even easier pass for me then, there's no excuse for such prominent printed-on ratings symbols on supposedly collectible packaging these days IMHO. I think they look quite nice otherwise, but the ratings logos ruin them a bit for me.

Very happy with my US set, but I hope everyone here can get their hands on whatever version they plan on buying as soon as possible, it's a lovely blu-ray and the bonus stuff is great too.

Yeah, I thought the same on both counts, just thought I'd check. The spines just make it more infuriating in a way though, it's evidence they actually thought about it!

Anyone have any idea when the original Star Wars trilogy will be released on bluray? I recently got the boxset which includes the CGI add-ons and I'm now very eager for the original cuts of the films without the abhorrent CGI.

Rest assured this will be BIG news when it's announced but it's not happening yet. For all we know Lucas made a proviso they don't release them.

Nah, George is using the originals as coasters, or probably some other home usage

I wonder if it will have the deleted scene in the tunnel.

It looks like there will be more deleted scenes as well, forgot to include those in my list.

Ooooh, I hope one of them is when Han, Chewie and Finn shove Phasma into the trash compactor.

So this is basically STID all over again: new re-release that includes previous digital-only bonus features plus a viewing option unavailable on the first release (which could be both 3D and IMAX in TFA's case). It's not so much a Disney thing but a JJ thing.
