All I want is Clone Wars "Season 6" to get blu-ray releases and I'll be happy.

There's six seasons?

Just like M*A*S*H*, the show is now longer than the actual war.

Why would you assume that?

Disney is a major movie studio, not some random guy trying to turn out a movie from his garage studio and filming in his backyard. Every major movie studio in Hollywood manages hundreds of movies every year (not all make it into production). There is no reason to believe that Disney, a major movie studio couldn't manage several movies simultaneousely. It's not as if they will have the same directors, writers and so on. Basically every movie will have it's own production with it's own director, writers, producers and so on.

If the movies are bad, it won't be becasue of the overlapping production, it will be for other reason.

I'm pumped for one movie every year for three years! I'm personally not worried about the quality of the films due to the release schedule. I think when showing concern for the quality of films, the reasons should lie elsewhere. The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films are highly ambitious projects that are in my opinion all excellent films. They didn't suffer from consecutive yearly releases.

That's definitely not a bad thing.
I'm a huge fan of Star Wars and, for me, that's a bad thing.

That was always one of the best things about Star Wars: it wasn't overhyped or overblown.

That's all changed.

The logo everyone wants to see when playing first-person shooters

But, it's unlikely they'll release them every year for decades because, after a while, they won't become profitable; people love Star Wars, but I'm not sure they want to see one a year, every year, for the next twenty or so years...

It's always been overhyped and overblown, that's why it's still popular. I'm a huge fan and I'll admit that. At least now we'll get new movies to go with the hype.

Exactly. People forget that George Lucas, technically speaking, is an independent film maker. Yes, he's the world's richest and most successful independent film maker, but he is no Disney.

Dunno if this has been posted but apparently they will be releasing a movie every summer for at least 6 years

Walt was an independent filmmaker, too. He even created his own distribution company after he grew tired of fighting with RKO. And Walt didn't have issues working on several movies and short sbjects at the same time.
