Oh wow! Kudos to this obscure observation. I was a very young lad when I saw Raise the Titanic and the surfacing scene had me on the edge of my seat. The score is amazing. Considering it was made before the wreck was discovered I never got the hate for the film. It was a genuine treasure hunting adventure that had some good old school suspense moments.

Greatly under appreciated.

It's a great scene and a wonderful score. (Extremely similar to Barry's music for Moonraker the year before ) But the movie is not terribly good. Great cast. But the script is dull and most of the film plods. Kind of like Titanic (1997)

Isn't the Soviet antagonist the same guy who plays Ivan's trainer in Rocky IV.

It’s just a run of the mill Dwayne Johnson movie. Dr Fate is the best part of that movie and the only reason I own it.

Man Of Steel is a vastly superior movie to Iron Man. Acting, effects and action are superior imo. Also the filmmaking just seems much more mature. I love Iron Man, but it feels really corny now imo.

I rewatched Black Widow last night to get ready for Thunderbolts*, it was great, didn't know this was an UO.
Did I miss something where BW became regarded as not good?

ALways thought it was one of the best MCU films since End Game, a bit small scale perhaps but a very fun cast of characters with some good drama.

Pedro Pascal looks like a hobo in 90% of his roles.

The wanton death and destruction in MoS seriously rubbed me the wrong way. Climaxing with Superman and Lois kissing in an empty expanse which used to be the centre city. Kissing in the spot where literally hundreds of thousands of people got wiped off the face of the earth.

I think what annoys a lot of people with regard to Black Widow is the misuse of Taskmaker.

I also don’t mind the 4K of Aliens. It’s not the best but it’s also not the worst.

Really I think the MCU would have been better off spending a few years making films like Black Widow, smaller scale stuff which could build things up again.

You mean the 6 ft built stuntman that suddenly becomes a 5 ft 4 petite woman when she takes off her helmet? Yeah, that was a big reveal that did not work.

I actually agree, I like Suspiria, but Inferno feels more like a nightmare imo. Both are fantastic movies though, Inferno has a great sinister vibe. Doesn't get the love it deserves
