Is the use of cursive in silent film intertitles common/uncommon/both/neither?

I've been wondering about that ever since picking up People on Sunday and haven't really been able to find any articles or references that address that.

Not just World on a Wire (which would be great, don't get me wrong), but Lili Marleen (which they have) and they can always upgrade that recently OOP BRD trilogy. Or they can surprise me and say they have The Third Generation.

I would say both (if I can). I just think it really depends. Some do, some don't. Intertitles could really just be a preference to a film, ranging from the background not being black, to the type of font.

I actually like Gojira's cover, with the exception of it saying Godzilla instead of Gojira. Belle de Jour cover is amazing !!!! Already two titles I want, keep them coming !

I was kind of hoping that meant that they would have both versions...maybe a double set? Probably not, but it would be nice.
