You could buy the Cowl Edition locally (if they have it) and return the Amazon order (don't open, either refuse it or tape on a return label from Amz). Tell them they were too damn slow in getting it to you.

I have super saver shipping orders from 9, 8 and 7 days ago that still aren't even "shipping soon" yet. I cancelled a couple of orders and let Amazon know that they could expect a lot less business from me - especially if, as some have opined, this is a ploy to get people to pay for Prime. Best Buy has several stores in the area and when a Blu is online only, they ship free in 1-3 days (like Amazon used to). Besides that, BB gives a 5% RZ payback and Amazon has lost another advantage because they began adding taxes. If you're in this boat, call/email and let them know that this is BS. Losing business is the only "feedback" they'll understand.

Whenever I hear Wayne speaking in Batman's attire I feel sick. I mean why he needs to speak in overly dramatic voice? He not only speaks like this when he wants to disguise himself but also speaks the same way with the people who know he is the Batman
The dramatic raspy voice is referenced in the comic. Particularly Knightfall after Bruce is recovering from having his back broken by Bane and Azrael takes over as Batman. Not to be technical or anything! I do think TDK was a little more overly dramatic, and they toned it down for TDKR.

Question: I already have BB and TDK...would it be worth getting the Trilogy Pack w/ book over just the single DKR release? Especially now that the single release is just $19?

Edit: Nevermind ...I already cancelled my pre-order of the single release and ordered the Trilogy pack because I don't need the DVD and UV copy of the DKR.

I'd do it only if I could resell the first 2 for around $10, which I think is pretty doable

You know what we need? We need a Batman & Blade team-up movie. Of course that'd be a Comics cross-over deal (DC and MARVEL character), but it'd still be cool. Two superheros that basically do all their fighting hand to hand with bladed weapons, and both dressed in black armor.

I think I could find a buyer or two.

I didn't realize that the Trilogy pack was a bit more than just the three movies packaged together in their own keepcases. The digipak with the book make it a more attractive deal.

Default IF you have Amazon Prime and/or Student Prime Account...

Mine shipped yesterday, will delivery Tuesday and it's already tracking on UPS.

If you're a student (or a teacher...) you can get Amazon Student Prime (same as Prime) for a year free! After the first free (and I do love that price, FREE) year its then (if you still want the service, its a no contract free year) its 1/2 price ($35.00) each year after that.....

All you need is an email address ending in .edu!

With a Prime account you get 2nd day shipping free and pre-orders will deliver the day of the release, movies, books etc...

Free 2nd day/day of release shipping for one year, all Amazon stocked products ship free, $35 a year after the first FREE year IF you want to keep your Prime account; I spend enough each year where the shipping would be WAY more than $35.00. For me, Amazon Prime is worth the cost.

But that's me......

I don't know ... the market is really flooded. Nobody wants these locally and they're selling on eBay (Like New) for $6 and under (minus fees) - an auction for TDK-2 Disc is ending in 13 minutes (zero bids at $1.99+$2.46 shipping. Hell, they're only 6-7 bucks minus fees brand new. Face it, the old ones are either coasters or skeet practice.

Exactly why I ordered Amazon Prime through my wife's account a few weeks ago. She is finishing up her degree and had the half price student offer after the free year, I couldn't resist.

This doesn't relate to anything said in the thread, as I didn't even read the thread, this is solely my opinions on the movie. I didn't go see this in theaters(I know), however I aquired it early through the UV glitch and watched it before leaving for class this morning. However I was only able to get to about the 2 hour mark, luckily Flixster isn't blocked at my school and I just finished watching in class(it's an independent work class no teaching). Oh MY GOD! This movie is incredible, such a great way to end a great series, and it also gave a pathway into the JGL Batman rumor being true, and still having Bruce. The last 10 or so minutes were some of IMO the best 10 minutes in cinema period. The entire movie felt like The Good John Blake Rises, ft. Batman and Catwoman until the end, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, especially if they(and it seems likely) were building it to fall into JGL being a big member of the future Batman stuff.

All doubt I had about buying multiple versions of this movie are gone.

(Again sorry that I didn't play off anything in the thread, but I'm in class and this was the only place I could sing my praises ATM)

Dissapointed in Amazon. I pre-ordered this back in September and I have Amazon prime but they haven't shipped it yet.

Okay, it's a bit off-topic (and no offense intended to anyone) but I always heard it as "if it's got boobs or an engine ... it's gonna cost you money". And I have absolutely no idea where either quote comes from.

I too have amazon prime, and though it still says shipping soon, I'm not worrying. I've been in this situation many times, and Amazon has always come through and delivered my movie on release day. Cut Amazon some slack too, since they are getting overloaded with holiday shopping. You'll all rise soon enough.

Also Prime, also shipping soon. I had my brief moment of unhappy can't watch this on release day thoughts, and then I recalled the multiple previous times I didn't get a shipped notice until the night before and still got it on release day.
