This is one of the first times I've seen Russell let emotion get the better of him and not act strategically. He was pissed that the girls didn't tell him Parvati already had an idol last week, so when he got the idol this week, he figured he was going to get back at them by not telling them he had it. If he had told his alliance he had it, they could have worked out a better strategy for tribal council. Instead he wanted to show them that he could play the secret game too. Hopefully it doesn't backfire later if he needs another idol.

I also didn't realize how crafty Sandra is, she's gonna be tough later on.

yeah, he really screwed up that one, put a lot of people at odds with him now, and i still believe that his whole problem stems from the fact that parvati and danielle, two women, pulled a secret over on him, and he doesnt like to feel that he was taken out of control or whatever you want to call it, by women, as much as i like him and how he plays, i think that is a big problem and he let it get the best of him, it looks like there are big problems brewing in their alliance this week because of it

two tribal councils, two people going home this week, lets hear some predictions!!!!

sandra s/b ok b/c she stuck w/russell and didn't flip.

candace is just a pawn and won't get past parv. or double d's.

russell may have put himself on the out's w/his move last week and parv. & danielle may try to pull an all women's alliance....it depends if sandra goes along w/it or not.

colby and rupert would have to win immunity and sit back in the weeds if they want to make it anywhere. of the 2, colby has the best shot @ upsetting russell's alliance by winning immunity.

i agree with you on candace, just like JT, shes a pawn, and now that shes served her purpose, shes one of the next ones gone, especially since parvati is in control, and russell spent a lot of the last episode working on candace, parvati would be smart to make sure that russell doesnt have anywhere to turn and come after her if their alliance starts to crumble, then i say probably one of the two remaining heros, either colby or rupert, not sure it really matters who

nice prediction, not a chance though, rupert HATES russell, there is no way they allign, unless rupert doest it in an attempt to blindside russell, i think russell is too smart for that though, his oly choice is to stay with his current alliance, nobody else trusts or likes him, i still call candace and then one of the remaining hero guys, id say colby unless he wins immunity or if rupert cant keep his mouth shut about how much he hates russell, candace will be eliminated like JT, she served her purpose and now its time to go, thats how russell plays his game, i really dont think the preview of the russell/parvati/ danielle alliance falling apart is going to be as bad as they made it out to be, i think its just the standard creative edit of the preview footage

and i used to think danielle was sexy, but the last few episodes, its be REALLY evident how fake and nasty those DDs look, thoughts???

i'm not sure if what i posted previously will happen, but i could see it happen w/how this season as been going.

my brain tells me candice will go b/c of what jono said, russell likes playing people to get what he wants then stabbing them in the back.

the other one will be either colby or rupert unelss sandra runs her mouth too much and pisses russell off to the point of getting rid of her.

when it really comes down to it, he is kind of predictable, his ego is so big that he HAS to do that so that he can feel smarter and superior to everyone, i still like his philosophy on how he plays the game, pretty sure i wouldnt like him IRL though, whereas im pretty sure there are a few people that i cant stand in the game that i would probably get along with really well if i met them IRL

and im pretty sure sandra is smarter than that, like i said, she gained a lot of respect with her move last week, she did it to find out where sandra is going so that she could vote that way too and stay with the power, now shes gonna play nice to their faces and talk sh!t about them in confessionals, she smart enough she just needs to stay low and ride it out now

I thoroughly enjoy watching Russel cause chaos, but even if he gets to the top three, there is NO WAY he is getting any votes.

I do believe he is undoubtedly the best player though. Both times I've watched him play, he's overwhelmingly been the person in control.

as much as i like him as a player, russell is a colossal idiot for what he did last night, the only allies he had left in the game have all turned on him, except jerri, and he cant honestly think that rupert and colby are going to be all buddy buddy with him now, actually he probably does think that, but really, they are only saving their own lives and hes letting them use him to do it, he just fell apart the last two episodes from making mistakes by letting his ego and need to feel superior control his decisions, if there was such a thing as a negative chance of winning the game, he would have it, people would be smart now to take him to the end with them, because he will get ZERO votes

Another awesome episode.

Russell is seriously the best player ever.

But he's doing the same exact thing he did in Samoa. He's not seeing the big picture. Even if he gets to the finale, he will most likely not be getting a single vote. I mean... From the preview it looks like he's going to try to make an alliance out of Colby and Rupert... With a jury full of Hero tribe mates... Do the math.

The "lol" moment for me is how fast Rupert was on board with him when he found out Russell wasn't gunning for him. And how "wtf" was it when he decided to just stab his alliance in the back out of nowhere! And it worked!
