How the Hell do I 'show blitz' now? I can't move my D-Line, back off coverage, or any of that shit. Where did it all go?

The Draft is Starting in 30 Minutes

Sorry bro I did not get in until late 7:30pm PST. I logged in to C how the Niners drafted. Really disappointed, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Sucks I could not show up. Maybe next time. Good luck with your season guys.

Apparently most of the new guys didn't read the first page. Right now, Free Agent Signings are RESTRICTED until I figure out the appropriate measures. Trades are also mean't to go through me before they're executed.

New Possible Trade Rule? :
-How do you all feel about trading with the CPU? But not the actual CPU; me. That's right, I want to enable CPU Trading and have every athlete in the league up there for possible trade. How would this work? All you would have to do would be to PM me with your proposed trade, the team you're trying to get the athletes from, and pretty much everything else you'd do when you're trading. But be warned; I'm a pretty difficult person to trade with and you not only have to get through me, but my Co-Commishioner, l.turner3, as well. We'll be looking at team needs, wants, and all that mumbo jumbo but, please, don't message me with "I want to trade (---) (69 OVR) for the Chiefs (---) (95 OVR)". It needs to have common sense, guys.

This is also serving as a reminder to you all that you can NOT sign Free Agents and you can NOT trade any players without getting my consent first. Trading athletes currently has no limit, meaning you can trade throughout the entire year but, as I said, you need my consent.

If either blast or I want to trade with the CPU, we have to make sure that the opposite Commishioner agrees to the trade ALONG WITH another player that we both trust. I'm currently looking at pillBOXhat or AU6; I'll ask them when I get home.

yeah i'd like computer trading...there are some guys who are favorite players of mine i'd like to trade for who aren't on user teams. as long as commishes are willing to deal with it...

Haha. We did that last year for Madden 10, season 2 and that didn't work out one bit. Everyone started quitting and lost interest.

But since it's a Fantasy league, I'm not sure if it would be the same

Since I am not in this league and really have no stake in the trading process, I wouldn't mind being your leagues trade commish. I could look over the trades and either accept them or not with explanations of the decision.

Looks like we have a little problem, guys. The new patch has been released updating several flaws in the game (sort of) and supposedly make the feel more 'fluid'. My question is, do you all think we should restart the Draft? As far as I know the update doesn't affect our current servers at all so restarting would be the only possible way to have a change, if you all want it in the first place.

But the patch isn't the only reason I asked that question; you, the owners, are a part of it, as well. See, multiple rules have already been broken and the franchise just began. For one, taking advantage of CPU teams will not be tolerated. This is (yeah, I call people out) mainly aimed at the new Giants owner. Throwing a 60+ yard TD with 0:00 left? I don't care if you "didn't mean to go all the way", why were you throwing at all that late (and up by that much) in the game? If we don't reset the franchise, you will have a strike against your record and a suspension will be made.

I'd also to let you all know that performing the exact same play countless times throughout the entire game is prohibited. Pitching, screen passes, etc.; they're all non-sim when used 10+ a quarter. I hear "I mix up my plays and still pitch; it doesn't mean I'm non-sim" a lot. Well, seeing as sim represents real life football, when you see 10 pitches per quarter this year, you just let me know and I'll revert the rule. But for now, running it (with constant pitches) 30 times in a row, changing to a screen pass, running it again, then once again screen passing, etc. etc. is not allowed. (That was just an example; hopefully you all understand what I'm trying to say.)

Alright, sorry, got really away from what I was meaning to say. Anyways, I need some answers; should we restart the Draft? A simple yes or no will be alright and, if you want to, adding a reason would be even better. I'll go ahead and make a pros/cons chart below for you all to review before answering.

i'm all for it. then again though, i didn't get to draft my own team. i feel like everyone could benefit for a new draft though after knowing the general areas where people get taken...

and people: IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO FOLLOW THE RULES, THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU JOINING? at some point in life, you need to grow up. and i know it's only Madden, but c'mon now...that just makes it worse in my eyes.

I was a little concerned with your league. Alot of new faces here. Maybe u should have some tryout games before allowing them in the league so they don't F--- it up???

And seriously, if they don't read the rules and pick up FA's and stuff, you should just boot them b/c obviously they did not take the time to respect all your work on this league!!

It probably will update the franchise, but I still have a tiny feeling that it won't because that's how badly EA's been messing shit up this year.

Only around 2-3 players were actually new. One guy was a quick sign-up and I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and yet he wound up running up the score. (Giants owner.) But I'm not going to go to the extreme on kicking out people who signed F.A.'s. They probably saw others doing it so they decided to chime in; that's not really a good excuse, though, seeing as they should have read the Rules in the first place. But it's whatever. When this 'poll' comes to a close, I'll discipline those who signed players/went against the rules.

Edit: Didn't see cubby's post. That's 2 people (jt might not count, but for now he does) for restarting the draft. And I agree; that Draft was pretty much like a practice for most people and resetting might possibly help them. I liked my Draft despite a few spots (mainly my Corners being slow bastards and some guy taking DeSean Jackson/Jeremy Maclin/LeSean McCoy from me).
