That's my theater too. So your complaining because the seats are too comfortable? hahahahaha

The only theater here that does recliner sofas is not a big chain.

It's a bit of a drive from me but I'll definitely be spending more time there when my MoviePass gets in.

Absolutely. Plus, I already hate AMC to start with.

I don't know why you guys would make AMC your home theater, when the Drafthouse is less than 10 minutes away from it! 100% better food and atmosphere. You're actually surrounded by fellow cinephiles and not teenagers that talk and text.

I go to both. On Saturday, I saw Dark Tower at AMC and Annabelle Creation at the Drafthouse

I havent had any bad experiences with audiences at Highlands Ranch lately. I'm 30 but I' usually one of the youngest in the theater unless I'm seeing an animated movie or something.

Fair enough. I saw Kidnap at AMC Orchard Pass (Something like that, up north on 25 near Broomfield) last night. I was definitely the youngest person there, at 29. Lots of 45+ year olds there. It was...odd.

I'm only going to AMC so much because of the e-tickets. Nothing is too close to my house on Colfax. Cheery Creek is the closest at 15 minutes away. Then probably Arapahoe Crossing, which is about 25 minutes away. My closest theater is Harkins, which is maybe a 5 minute drive. But they're not even included in the MoviePass.

We'll get an email when the card ships? Well damn, I assumed they were shipping out once we signed up and expected to get it in the mail tomorrow or the next day to use over the weekend.

Not that it's a big surprise considering the amount of new sign-ups I'm sure they got, but it's disappoint nonetheless. Was already planning on seeing like 3 or 4 movies lol

I've had MoviePass twice in the past so everything people seem to be going nuts over is stuff is stuff I've dealt with. It's a great service. Just need to have patience to start off.

I see on twitter they're indeed just parroting "You'll receive an email when the card ships" to everyone who asks (even though the question is usually "Is there a delay in shipping cards/How much of a backlog is there" so that's not really an answer lol)

You guys.

MoviePass announced this new price point on Tuesday, the 15th. After signing up, there was a notification saying the card would take 4-5 business days to get to you. (Take that with a grain of salt, considering the extreme amount of new members signing up.) Today is the 21st. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday (today). That's 4 business days. Tomorrow will be the 5th business day, and when cards, under normal circumstances, should be arriving.

To expect your card to have already reached your house is ignorant, impatient, uninformed, and insulting to MoviePass as a company. Give it time people.

Good Lord.

If you ordered a pizza at a time of the day when it's not busy, and they quoted you 30 minutes...would you then expect a pizza to be finished in 15 minutes when the store gets flooded with an abnormally high number of orders?

Absolutely not.

So yeah, no sh** you're still waiting on your 2 cards. Because it's completely ridiculous to assume or expect otherwise.

I just signed up, and it said the card would arrive within 7 business days. So perhaps that suggests the backlog after they were first saying 4-5 business days, and hopefully that means arrival to use on labor day weekend (the next releases I was planning on seeing in theaters are Terminator 2 and Inhumans, so Movie Pass doesn't work anyway as they are 3D and IMAX titles).

To be clear, I wasnt implying my cards were overdue. I knew they wouldnt/shouldnt be here yet, I was just being impatient, like someone saying, "Why isn't the Last Jedi out yet?! I want it now!!"

Signed up.............. I'm a bit skeptical but $10 isn't much of a risk.

Hoping my card shows up before Logan Lucky is out of theaters.
