Well I would say the part of the main characters you admire is that they are "Do-ers". Then Daniel Lugo justifies his reason for going after Kershaw by saying "Victor Kershaw is a criminal prick, who deserves bad stuff to happen to him!" At this point you're sort of with them because it's just interesting until they try to kill him. At that point you're not sure if you should keep rooting for them and then they "accidently" kill the porn guy and his wife and chop their bodies up. At that point you realize these guys were real and only a psycho would do that and by then you're rooting for Ed Harris' character to catch these guys. So as a film, yes I do think it works because its entertaining on many levels even when it's mostly a true story.

Comparing with Wolf of Wall Street (yes, I know there really is no comparison), but they both showcase bad guys trying to justify why they do what they do. They're not glorifying criminals but its the viewers choice to believe what they want. Of course people think Bay is sleazy and that he condones what they did... blah blah blah. He knew the story could translate well onto screen and I personally think it did. That being said, when it shows the real photos at the end of the crime scene and bodies in barrels it does kind of make you sick to your stomach.

It would have been interesting to see what reaction would be like if it wasn't Bay. But then I don't think they'd have made it without Bay...

Are you saying there are Bay hating nutters that actually believe he condones chopping up body parts, burning them on a grill and stuffing them into barrels because he made a movie about the subject?

I just want to know why Leonardo DiCaprio's head is so large?
I don't mean his ego. I mean his noggin... his skull. Its so physically large when he's standing next to others.

I stand by my earlier statement, but I do see how roided-out meat-heads would take offence to the film.

It's probably just you, which is weird.

Mine definitely says Pain & Gain. That's bizarre. Are you sure you didn't accidentally stick a couple of your UV things together? :P

I know it's a double-sided sheet, but I was thinking maybe you accidentally stuck a couple pages together or something, that's all.

Have you tried putting the code in?

Wait, I must be misunderstanding. Are you saying on one side there is an actual code for Pain & Gain, while the other side has a code for The Italian Job? I thought you were saying one side has the poster for Pain and Gain, but the other side is a UV code for The Italian Job instead.

I wonder why your version would have it even though it is supposedly a Wal-Mart Exclusive... hm...

Haaahaaa. This movie is nuts.
Some parts funny. Some silly. Some stupid. Some hysterical. Some serious. Some ridiculous.

I'll tell ya this much: it's a guys movie.
There ain't no girls saying, "Oh I need Pain and Gain in my collection"

That's not entirely accurate. My best friend loved the movie and wants it in her collection, sooo... gender roles strike again?

My wife enjoyed the hell out of it too. Admittedly, though, it wouldn't have even been on her radar if it weren't for me.

Gotchya.

Well, it was fun, but I didn't love it as much as I wanted. I still love Bad Boys 2 more
