Just recently gotten a DVD release in Germany. It's a TV-movie, probably the best we're gonna get.

I´m German and as far as I know you can only get the DVD/Blu-ray together in a two disc edition.

I ordered here: http://www.dtm.at and I had to pay 35 euros for "Death Wish 2"

Yeah, way too much for me. I guess I'll have to live with the R rated US Blu.

I am just waiting on diabolik to get Death Wish II from overseas, they said they would be. I'm guessing they will still be charging around $40(maybe higher). Assassination from kino is pretty sweet too, while not as great as some it is still a fun ride.

What's the difference, time-wise, between the R-rated and unrated cuts of DW2? I'm curious as to how much and exactly what we are missing out on.

a minute or two. The unrated has the full length rape scene and all the violence around that scene intact. That opening is the only thing that was edited.

The r-rated version also heavily edited the rape of Kersey's daughter and the aftermath of that scene.

Today I got the German mediabook of "Death Wish 2". It´s so great to watch that movie in the uncut version.

Tomorrow I will buy the Bronson movie "Someone behind the door"(Anthony Perkins is also in it) in 1080p from ITunes Canada.

Then another Bronson gap is closed in full HD

Twilight will release "Chato´s Land" on April 12th. Hopefully in the internationally uncut version because the US-DVD was cut.

How is this release? Does it contain the English language version? CD Japan's website only lists the Japanese and French audio tracks..... does it contain the English track as well? Thanks!

I just tested the disc for the first time (I'm saving it for Christmas) and it's the French version of the film (1h 59m 37 sec) with French or Japanese audio and optional Japanese subtitles. Quickly scanning the disc, it's a very nice presentation.
