I don't know what made me want this game, but I definitely got sucked into the hype of my friends getting it, new COD release, etc. Just got back from getting it at Best Buy and waiting for it to install on XBOne (painfully slow compared to PS4 install times). Still, pretty excited about this and I hope I enjoy it on a level similar to COD4.

Just waiting for the update file to download and install. And apparently I did not have enough room on my hard drive for the game so I deleted some stuff I haven't played in a while like Killzone, and Second Son.

Oh is that why I can't get on... LAME. the day one code inside my game case says invalid when entering it. so I was worried that was the only way to get early access

To be clear. I wasn't talking about SP. MP is brutal.

Some quick tips.

Perks. Equip low profile as soon as you can. Need to stay off that UAV!

Weapons. Use the AK12 to start. Auto rifles rule the game it seems. Sub machine guns are just meh right now. The AK12 has predictable handling.

I am level 18 right now with 58 minutes of playtime. The first matches were horrible. I was getting destroyed but then it started clicking.

Slow down your game play. Seriously. Don't use your Exo suits abilities until you have to. If you run around like crazy you are gonna get demolished.

Use Exo Stim and Cloak to start with. Stim is basically juggernaut.

The learning curve is obviously higher due to the Exo suit. It just feels right though and the controls are responsive. You will pick it up quickly. The Exo can seriously make you a hard target, don't forget to evade left and right. It is virtually impossible to track.

I'm trying to play so many games simultaneously that it's become incredibly overwhelming. Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, Alien:Isolation, The Evil Within, and soon Master Chief Collection, Super Smash Bros. Wii U, Far Cry 4, LittleBigPlanet 3, GTA V... It's never ending chaos this holiday season.

Played this for the last 3-4 hours or so. It's exactly what you expect from a Call of Duty game. Same old, same old. There are a few new elements thrown in that make it fun, but it's still the same formula. That's fine for me though, I'm pretty hooked already... as expected.

I must be getting old, everything moves so damn fast lmao. Really don't recall ADS being that slow for tracking people. Was it always like that?

Yeah, without a perk to speed up ADS it was slow (can't recall the older CoD titles, but recent past), there is no perk now to do that anymore.

I bought the digital pro version, so I had about 4 or 5 separate downloads, then there are 2 patches I think.

It took a while to pre-load the actual game. Did you get the disc based version? If you got the disc version it will install quickly.

The patches should download quickly, they are (or at least the latest one) around 100mb each.
