YouTube user "My moonization" claims they have stills from the "direct source" of the 4K HDR version of Titanic.
Looks like the green tint is gone, if these are indeed accurate to the 4K UHD release. Thoughts?

Well certainly looks more natural, dubious about his claims though.

Ironic, considering the mad moony channel adds an insane green tint (from a forced colour space conversion) to all their “HDR” caps anyway

Looks like the dood used a low quality source for the 1080p version. Yar!
Couldn't even be bothered to rip the original disc.

The colors in general do appear nicer with most of the "4K" shots.
Time will tell if it is just a fan upconversion and regrading.

I already have Titanic on Blu-ray 3D, but I would be willing to pay $300+ for a 4K Blu-ray version to add to my collection. Also, I would like to see Abyss and True Lies on 4K Blu-ray.

Yes, I would rather pay $30 for the movie. However when it comes to my top ten all time favorite movies I would not hesitate to pay $300+. In the old days before DVD and Blu-ray discs existed certain Laserdiscs imported from Japan were $300+ like a special edition of Dune.

I missed the re-release back in February and am putting off watching at home until the 4K is released. Hopefully that announcement is coming soon.

Hoping for an open matte release that isn’t slathered with DNR. Unlikely, I know.

The Titanic UHD is at the bottom of the ocean along with The Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, True Lies and remastered T2.
