My ISPU backup steelbooks are somehow...worse? Now all my copies are slashed pretty bad with none left in nearby stores. I'm just so disappointed.

I’ve had a good run, Age of Ultron is the first steel in my collection to have a spine slash. Not nice to look at but it doesn’t effect me too much. Just happy to have these both in my collection!

My Best Buy was out of all the Steelbooks except Avengers. Small slash on the AoU, but it is ok.

These steelbooks went much faster than I thought they would have.

All of my steelbooks look to be in pristine condition.

Sampled all three Avengers movies in UHD disc with HDR and VUDU UHD with Dolby Vision and I was pleasantly surprised at how stellar Avengers 1 looks in 4K UHD considering it is the oldest of the three.

Glad to have these all in my collection.

I have now quadruple-dipped on Avengers and AOU. No regrets!

I got to my BB at 8pm. They had 7 Avengers steels and 8 Ultron steels. 4 of the 8 Ultron steels had spine slashes.

The spine slashes have been an issue, but my A1 had one on the opposite side, where the steelbook opens.

Fortunately, I was able to return it (as well as my spine-slashed AOU) and pick up undamaged ones. Plenty in stock at Best Buys in Springfield, IL, and Chicago.

My Avengers has a spine slash that I didn't notice during my ISPU inspection

Went back when I realized it (7 hours later) and my BB had a million copies of IW, 4 of AoU, but no Avengers. Kicking myself for not thoroughly checking it out this morning when I had my pick of the litter.

Surprisingly though, my IW steelbook was delivered nicely packaged and in great condition.

I really want to go back and get the 4K steel for Avengers 1. It's absolutely gorgeous in person.

Already got the original steelbook for Age of Ultron, so I have no need for that. Would rather buy the 4K disc by itself and shove it into the old steelbook.

Best Buy needs a better job distributing these steelbooks. My Best Buy down the street received 10 copies which sold out by noon. Six miles down the road, the Best Buy received over 50 copies.

I had no intention of getting these; I planned to get the simple 4ks and toss em in the OG steelbooks.

Seeing them in person was a game changer- these are gorgeous and they look great together.

Chiming in that I also picked up all three this afternoon and I’m veeery happy with how the packaging looks. Just gorgeous, especially Avengers 1.

Glad I didn’t decide to save money this time haha

Has to do with store size. Smaller stores get smaller quantities.

I love the Avengers movies so much I still bought both the Infinity war steel and target exclusive as well, and I’m pleased. Never done a day one double dip before!

I actually sold my previous two Avengers Best Buy 3D steelbooks for $90. So this was a double dip that paid for itself and then some

I however ordered both from BestBuy.com and had them shipped to a friend in the states, since they look so awesome.

My local BB knows me and takes good care of me every single time.
