It’s been interesting watching the sale calendar fill out over the past few years. It used to just be Black Friday and Midsummer for the most part. There was a common tendency to pre-empt or pile onto the biannual B&N Criterion Sale windows.

Sales were just much fewer and farther apart overall—now it seems that boutiques fill any gap they can find—which is understandable as increased boutiques compete over an increasingly niche consumer base.

I looked at those links yesterday and today and couldn’t find any on sale or deals. Can you post what titles are on sale or a link to the sale? I’m just not seeing it. Thanks.

I am not seeing why people are considering those a sale. True, not every Kino boxset goes on sale on every Kino sale, but their sales are every three months like clockwork. Being just a little patient can get you pretty much any 3 disc box set for $24.99 (or less)

None of them are deals or on sale. Those are pretty standard prices for those sets, on Amazon or during Kino’s frequent sales. If you do find anything particularly low priced, please share the specific title(s). Thanks.
