Shrek 4-D (released in 2003), SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D, and SpongeBob 4-D: The Great Jelly Rescue (2003 and 2014 respectively) come to mind. It would be great to release/preserve these rides in their original form.

Not a weird suggestion at all, though I think it would take a lot of effort. I would love to see a compilation of theme park rides, throw the Europa-Park ones on there too. The SpongeBob ones would make a great extra if Turbine could get the Sponge on the Run movie out on 3D Blu-ray too.

Yes, an "Sponge on the Run" 3D Blu-ray with one or a couple of 3D shorts on disc would be truly awesome. I love that Migration comes with a 3D short. What a nice bonus!

I would also be very interested in a 3D set with films from Europapark (Mack Media). While Happy Family 2 can be had for a small sum, the first part is absolutely sold out and is being charged ridiculous prices for it. The 3D short film "Happy Family 4D" is also nowhere to be found. I think there are also a few other short films that were/are being shown in the amusement park and didn't make it onto disc. Mack Media is currently working on a new animated film that is called "Grand Prix of Europe". I haven't found any evidence yet that this will also be a 3D film. But there is a good record for 3D. If so, it would be a nice compilation to combine the Mack Media films with the shorts, a possible new edition of Happy Family 1 and the brand new film. I just don't know what the rights are like. The Happy Family 1 and 2 films have been distributed by Warner Bros.

I'd kill for Raphael: The Lord of the Arts. It was produced by satellite broadcaster Sky for their documentary series on the Renaissance so the stereo is guaranteed to be state of the art.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6748042/?ref_=nm_ov_bio_lk

Musei Vaticani was published in Italy by Cinehollywood in 2014. Koch Media published Firenze E Gli Uffizi (2015), and St. Peter's and the Papal Basilicas of Rome (2016), also in Italy - but by 2017 Raphael was left with the 2d short straw.

I have a feeling this series is going to be limited to titles that turn up on the AVP but there are a fair few made-for-TV 3D shows that deserve a release too, frankly I would say that any previously unreleased on disc content is going to be a good seller whatever it is.

Does anyone know when the next run of 3 3D movies will be up for pre-order? Roughly?

The short answer is no but there was about a 5 month gap between the first three and second three titles so if it's the same again then I'd guess around March/April 2025

Has anyone in Canada got their package yet? I'm in southwestern Ontario, preordered weeks ago when it was first announced, and now since Wednesday October 30 my package has been stuck in Frankfurt awaiting transportation to the destination country. Should I be worried? And to make matters worse, there is talk of a possible Canada Post strike next week. Does anyone in Canada know if the last leg is through Canada Post, or a private courier?

While awaiting my package, can more people who already received theirs comment on the quality of these releases, specifically MI Fallout and Migration?

Haven't seen MI: Fallout yet. Tonight the time has finally come. I'm excited after over 6 years of desperate waiting! But I'll quote from a short review from a user of the German Blu-ray site. This probably says it all

"Turbine finally presents us MI: Fallout in fabulous 3D!
The space has been implemented simply fantastically."

"An absolute no-brainer for 3D lovers and if you want to convince someone in your circle of friends or family about 3D: put this disc in the player, people will be amazed."

On DHL mine is showing "Departure on flight AC845" lol, is anyone else on my flight? I'm in the Vancouver area on the West Coast, normally whenever I have a DHL package, final delivery is DHL. Once I get an advance email/text, I select a pickup option (because they won't deliver at my apartment even if signature not required), then once it arrives they try to deliver it anyway instead of just holding it for pickup, so then usually I have to wait an extra day before it's ready for pickup.

Captain EO has to be the worst 3D attraction ever. They definitely did not know how to do 3D.

I still want it for the nostalgia lol. I only have vague memories of seeing it when it originally released, I was a kid. My brother had a Fuzzball stuffed animal lol.

I've only seen it on a poor quality bootleg but that was enough to know I would love to see it on 3D Blu-ray. It's never going to happen though.

What?

I specifically remember the chocolate chip cookie looking asteroid spinning directly in front of me, several space battle explosions, Angelica Huston's claws, and the little monkey-thing flying out and waving bye-bye to me in early 1987. That's how memorable the 3D was that after nearly 40 years I still remember those shots clear as day. It was frikkin' amazing and I hope and pray someday there will be some kind of Blu-ray 3D release (along with a 4K).

They actually ran it in full on MTV one night in the late '90s/early 2000s. I have it somewhere on SuperVHS in my closet. But yeah, quality is nowhere near Blu-ray or even DVD.

The 3D-movie "The Wild Robot", which is currently still running very successfully in cinemas, is distributed by Universal. So I hope it will also be a hot candidate for a future Turbine 3D-offering.

Better Super VHS than VHS! (Digital) Betacam would be even better lol. I guess the film itself is on YouTube (ew), I guess I'll check it out since I don't think I've ever watched it after seeing it as a kid.

Yes! In my mind it was one of the great films this year, I already pre-ordered the 2D Blu-ray to support the film, since I know that if Turbine does it, it will be just the 3D disc.

Quick question and sorry to bring it up, I'm just curious about anyone else's experience with ordering from Turbine to US or Canada. I don't know how this was declared for customs (I don't see Turbine's documentation, only the Canada Post documentation), but the declared value must have been wrong, or Customs must have been asleep at the wheel.

I ordered the bundle, and I was assessed for 1 "Electrical" value at $146+ CAD and 1 "Special" value at $31+ CAD, total value $177.35 CAD. But the total value of the bundle should have been only around $75 CAD, that was the bundle price minus a small rewards amount. So as a result, I had to pay $31+ CAD customs

Just curious, is anyone else being hit with customs charges on the bundle, or did anyone see similar on the first bundle? I'm wondering if I should have it sent to my US mailbox next time, if it doesn't get customs in the US, the small pickup fee from my mailbox would be worth avoiding the hassle from Canada Customs. I can try disputing this but I'm not sure how far I'll get, $10 out of the $31 fee is just their handling fee, and they won't refund that.

Otherwise despite the very minimal packaging (thin cardboard mailer, no protection), the order did at least arrive safely. I like the Collector Series design of these cases, going through the discs to check everything now.
