I like the collectors edition, is it just exclusive to certain countries?

It's available in most countries as the standard edition. Some countries have it as a store exclusive.

The US and UK sets are exactly the same (except the US set also has the DVD), so buy the UK set if you want it straight away.
It seems like the box is a universal box, with local ratings logos / regional information printed on a cardboard slip

Yes, the Star Wars logo on the front is slightly raised and glossy too from what I remember.

I noticed that under aspect ratio in the specs it says 16X9 / 2.40:1 on both 3D and 2D Discs should I read anything into that?

Have the Imax scenes been confirmed as playing in 1.77:1 ?

No. The native frame size of HD Blu-ray is 16:9 which is what that number is referring to, and the 2.40 is the specific ratio that the disc is using inside that 16:9 frame. Same reason why you might see 16:9/1.33 on a 4:3 movie encoded on Blu.

Cheers Geoff .Sorry if this has been asked before but it is a long thread so is it confirmed There isn't a Dolby Atmos Track and it doesn't display the Falcon chase in IMAX like Interstellar,Dark Knight etc.

Not worth the upgrade for 3D only, I preferred the 2D presentation,

If the IMAX scenes aren't present, it's a darn shame they're not on there as an extra.

I'd prefer them there as an extra, to be honest. Shifting aspect is fine at the IMAX because of the sheer size of the screen, but it's jarring in my own home theatre.

Feel like a broken record but wasn't it confirmed months ago that the 3D version would not feature VAR?

Get on to their CS, no reason they shouldn't refund the difference.
