What songs do you guys think would be good for the sequel?

I could see "The Things We Do for Love," another 10cc classic, fitting in perfectly in a GOTG movie.

"Magic" by Pilot.

"Ain’t No Stopping Us Now" by Mcfadden & Whitehead would be perfect. Continue the meta cockiness angle Marvel took with the first film.

Just came from the theater and I enjoyed this movie very much. It had a lot of good laughs, good action, and
[Show spoiler]brolins Thanos was pretty cool to see.
However, I'm a bit underwhelmed but ill watch it again when I have the chance.

I loved Bautista's character the most, and groot was great also had the best soundtrack for the franchise since the first iron man.

I'm not into the Marvel universe or reading the comics at all, but as for the after credits scene, I've come across various sources showing there is more to it than meets the eye (just had to use that pun! LOL)...
[Show spoiler]Howard the Duck is a red herring... something else is contained within the scene, which is apparently fairly important to the franchise. Deals with another object that is part of the collection, which was also previously shown when the team first meets the collector. That is all I will say...

[Show spoiler]Howard the Duck is kind of a diversion to something else contained within the scene, which is apparently important to the franchise. Deals with something else that is in the collection. That is all I will say...
Since it's in spoiler tags you might as well just say it anyways.

? I'm legitimately curious, because I can't understand it. Most people don't understand how great Howard is as a character because of the film, but the comic version is excellent.
Believe me, I had similar feelings when GOTG was first announced. I'm not saying that it would turn out bad, I'm just having trouble picturing it working with what Marvel has established so far. As I said before, Marvel has done a lot to impress me and they made it work. I'm not as familiar with
[Show spoiler]Howard the Duck
as other Marvel heroes, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't work. If Marvel decided to go that route and include
[Show spoiler]Howard the Duck
in the MCU, I have no doubt that they could make it to work.

Okay I will give the spoiler:

[Show spoiler]a Cocoon - intact when you first meet the collector, broken/'hatched' in the end credit scene...

Just reading up on this (having no previous knowledge of the character), it would make sense in the grand scheme of things.

I thought Gamora was the only one out of the mains who didn't get a big moment to shine. Even Yondu/Space Merle had a cool scene.

Some things I didn't realize until repeat viewings:

[Show spoiler]
Rocket saves John C Reilly's wife and daughter.

Yondu got trolled with a troll doll.

Can you remind me of the scene in which
[Show spoiler]Rocket saves JCR's family?

[Show spoiler]When they start dive bombing Xandar and Rocket blows one up before it crashes. Pretty sure she was there with the kid.

I think you may be right. Thank you. Rocket's interaction with JCR at the end KILLED me. I thought Cooper nailed it in that scene especially.

5/5. It was everything I could have wanted, and even a little more in a few places. Totally did not expect to see so much of
[Show spoiler]Thanos
, let alone a physical appearance.

I might have to seriously reshuffle my personal rankings for the MCU after this.

And while I could say I can die happy seeing
[Show spoiler]Howard the Duck
at the end, now I want Marvel to commit to their tease and do something with it.
