But it was a very unconventional 3 upfront. Defoe and wickham tracked back the entire match and worked very hard. It's not the better teams that concern me, it's the home games against Leicester and palace. Win one of those and draw against Southampton and we should be ok. Qpr have still got to play some top 4 teams and hull suddenly look like doing a norwich last year and free falling down the league. They have five very tough games out of their last seven games.
Having said all that, even if we do go down, we have left newcastle crying and they will probably want us to go straight back up as a derby free season will be dull. (Even if it is guaranteed points for us)

Tim Sherwood is a honest manager and some people don't like that but i think next season he will do a better job there.

I'm not saying he isn't honest just comes out with strange stuff and acts as if he's won plenty as a manager hard job as Lerner won't invest money into transfers

I didn't mean yourself, i meant the players under him like when he was manager at spurs some of the players did not like his honesty.

I know what you mean but players now a days are like little brats they don't wanna hear the truth only wanna hear how good they are I think a manager who has built a good reputation can give the players the truth but Sherwood has done little in management so it will back fire on him in my opinion

You make a good point he does not have a reputation yet but i get this impression from sherwood that his more of a motivational coach than anything else.

I think 20 years ago you could get away with being a motivational manager but the games comes a long way now tactical decisions have always been a big part of football but I think modern day football it's even bigger dunno if Sherwood has that in him but if he keeps them up be interesting to see what he does with them next year

I agree with the game today you got to have the have the attributes or not to make it as a manager look at Roy Keane for example.

Yeah Keane is a good example, I would be shocked if he got a job at a top club unless he goes down to the Championship and works wonders with a team and manages to get them up and keep them up
