It really is. I started my tenth rewatch of it an hour ago, I love it. Ten times on Blu-ray/4K and three in theaters.

Thumbs up

One of the best comic book movies that I have seen in my life.

One thing that I really enjoyed was Brolin’s performance of Thanos. He played that cold-blooded, evil character perfectly.

I need to buy this so I can watch it again and again and again......

I didn’t see a SINGLE character matching that description in this film.

I wouldn't argue Thanos kills cold-blood, he kills (half) because of his purpose and believes its for the greater good of existence. He thinks he's the hero.

That's what I love about this movie so much, how you could watch it from Thanos' perception and understand him.

Watched the 4K Blu-ray at home for the first time the other day. I knew everything that was coming and I was still shook. Can't wait for A4.

Thano is easily the best MCU villain so far. But he still doesn't come close to Ledger's Joker or old/young Magneto.

I like Thanos, but he's just a CGI version of Colonel McCullough.

Agreed but we still have one more movie for Thanos to wreak havoc

Somewhat, but not entirely. McCullough wanted to preserve the human race and wipe out those infected with the virus.

Thanos wanted to bring stability to the universe, as he believed its massive population would inevitably use up the universe's entire resources and condemn it. To do this he had to wipe out half of the universes population.

Magneto is more of a frenemy. I'm a huge Ledger Joker fan but Thanos is on whole another level.

I see so many people complain about dodgy CG and CG overload in movies these days so I don't see how Infinity War gets a pass. Don't get me wrong there were some great fx in this but also some abysmal ones. For example, why was that female servant of Thanos a CG character? She could've just been played by a human as she was so human in appearance. It kind of reminded me of some of the fx in RIPD, which got absolutely slammed for its CG. I was also reminded of Gods of Egypt where a lot of the CG in this was on the same level of quality. I enjoy crazy OTT fx work but I don't see Infinity War's visual fx being much of a leap over a lot of other movies that got slated for their CG. Also way too much obvious green screen during a lot of the Earth set scenes.

Either way, both Colonel McCullough and Thanos at their core were about wiping out life in order to save life. So it's nothing original. Where as something like Heath Ledger's Joker, you can't compare that complexity to anything else.

They sure toned down Black widow on her looks in this one. The hair color was terrible and its to short. Wanda wins it there.

I liked Widow in Avengers and Winter Soldier, once Wanda came into the picture I switched to her.
