Moonstruck (1987) is a monumental turkey. How that movie got a Best Picture nomination is beyond me and Cage does a worse performance than in Wicker Man.

I'd rather watch anything released by Cannon instead of the next Marvel film.

It sure is bad.

But of the ~450 films I've seen of the ~550 Academy Award nominees and winners, very few have actually been good.

I've enjoyed most MCU movies, but I know where you're coming from. It really is just overkill at this point, imho.
As for Cannon movies, I'll have t think long and hard about that one.

I'm sure this has been discussed, but I'd just like to reiterate- Walking Dead killed zombie movies much the way Twilight killed vampire movies. I do think Vampire movies have a better chance of reinventing itself faster than zombies. Maybe Danny Boyle can change all that when/if 28 Months Later happens.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse...what am I missing? It made a ton of money, audiences loved it, critics adored it, it won an Oscar, and I found it to be extremely irritating. I hated the animation style, the frenetic editing, the hip-hop soundtrack, etc.. I also get very annoyed when a parent goes out of their way to embarrass their child, in a movie or otherwise.

Horrible movie!

Spider-Man 3 was cheesier than the previous 2 even that one with the upside-down kiss or whatever...

There's been an overall overexposure concerning the zombie/living dead genre. What used to be a niche idea in a horror sub genre, has now become popularized and trendy. We have zombie children's books for crying out loud. Kids playing Plants vs Zombies on their tablets. What used to be cool and strictly Romero & Fulci is now boring and watered down assembly line crap. Walking Dead is indeed a big contributor to this "dead horse".

I haven't seen the Romero flicks, but Danny Boyle and Edgar Wright really placed their own excellent takes on the zombie genre (although the latter was more of a love letter to Romero).

Spiderman sucks in general. Always thought peter parker was an annoying dweeb, his suit is ugly, his movies look grating and all of his villains like carnage, venom, green goblin etc outshine him. Never related, the 90s cartoon was decent though

Glad to see that I'm not the only one here who thought it was horrible. In the poll from the thread for it here, I'm the only one of 195 users who gave it a 1 out of 5, heh.

zombies have been overplayed for so many years now I'm still surprised how much zombie content is still being produced. Video games in particular. Move on guys!

Tom Hanks' best live-action performance is from The 'Burbs.

I'd go further, i never saw the appeal of the Romero flicks, i thought they were slow, boring cheap-looking movies.
