I don't know...I think it's more fashionable to rag on The Dark Knight now than ever before. But that doesn't mean it gets ragged on very much. Just more than before. Most people still hold it pretty highly..

TDK only gets the ragging it needs. Not the ragging it deserves.

Whatever that means. (as I continually say, under my breath, during Nolan's films. )

Pixar doesn't know what they're doing. Pete Docter said "We have to find out what people want before they know it. Because if we just gave them more of what they know, we'd be making Toy Story 27." Meanwhile they are making Toy Story 5.

I think, for me at least, SHAWSHANK is a great film with an upbeat and inspirational ending, GREEN MILE ends with a depressing whimper...

The Green Mile is a classic, one of the best King adaptations. I too prefer it over Shawshank.

I too find the ending of The Green Mile to be just too much of a downer. Not that down endings are always a bad thing. The Green Mile just bothers me in a different worse way. It feels so unnecessary..

I don't think this is an unpopular opinion.

I'm totally enjoying every single minute of the Summer of Pedro and look forward to him starring in the Mandalorian movie, Doomsday and Secret Wars!

The Black Cauldron is a Richard Rich film more than it is a Disney film. While I like The Great Mouse Detective, it's sort of a glorified Saturday morning cartoon.

The last true "vintage" Disney film is The Fox and the Hound. The last film to have any involvement from two of the Nine Old Men - Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston and before Eisner became CEO.

Carnosaur 2 is probably one of the better Aliens rip-offs.

Is it really better than Carnosaur 1?
