Oh man, that sucks! I've not been playing it this passed week cuz I was getting bored of that one map and when I selected another map to play on it usually put me in a game with only about 2 people

I did the Edge shaving thing, and the code I was given does not work. Anyone know what to do? It was for the map pack (though it sounds like maybe I don't *want* the map pack, anyway....)

You could play with people that don't have the map pack. Since I don't have it, we can't play it. If you see me on, squad invite me even if I'm on Dragon Age or something. It'll take me a minute, but I'll join!

Don't know what happened last night bud, I sent you a squad invite and you ended up on the opposite team.
Some good games though, we'll try again sometime this week.

Congrats man you deserve it, you must of really put the work in. I did get into the top 1000 a couple times but unfortunatly i havent got the time anymore as i started a new job last week, so a lot less PS3 and bluray.com for me

You didn't wait long enough for me. You pulled me from a game in which I was on a team that knew what they were doing (and I was in an Exo), and I ended up on the other side of the stick vs. you. I "squadded up" with you, but then had to manually join your game. Once I was finally able to join, your team was full, but the other wasn't. I think I've finally decided that the Akmir Snowdrift level is just not my cup of tea, particularly if the other team has both TSAs and you're the "bottom" team (with only two exits, and no multi-tier way of getting out of the base.) Oh well. Once I decided "my" team was terrible, I stopped going for objectives and started focusing on killing. I think that from now on, once I realize I'm on a bad team I'll do that too (despite how much I abhor it (I need to use abhor in Scrabble some time, it's a nice word.))

If you want me to squad up with you when I'm playing DA2, I'm down. Just make sure to give me a couple of minutes. I *love* both games.

I was worried about lag when I play on "European" servers, but I notice NOTHING different than playing on the "North American" server set. Did you notice any problems with hitting me? I know sometimes the lag might go the other way if someone is on the wrong server set....

I know what that's like. 6 days a week, at least 10 hours a day. I'm lucky enough to get any game time on my day off. I've seen a couple of you guys online, but I'm trying to get through Campaign first before I jump into multiplayer.

I guess I hadn't given it much thought before today, but I never realized that there were other maps for Warzone besides the one that always comes up. I manually selected one but there was only 6 people on it. They definitely need to fix this glitch! All these cool maps are going to waste.

The issue with choosing a preferred map is that it will stick you in a game with that map regardless of how many people are playing. Then rather than letting you play out a rotation, it'll do it again. I wouldn't really say they're going to waste, though. There are plenty of full games if the DLC maps are not installed.

However, due to the excessive amount of downtime between maps, I've noticed it's been turning more and more into my Modern Warfare 2 experience. A lot of people will just drop immediately after a game and search for a new one since it's faster. Meaning if I stick around for the next map to start, the game will end up empty or severely uneven.

I've finished the campaign at last, but I have a few trophies to go back and pick up but I understand that with KZ3 you can't just dip into a level, get the trophy then go to another chapter; apparently if you select a level your game is then overwritten and you carry on from that point! Is that true? I might as well do the whole game on easy to mop up the trophies then go it again on Elite. Not sure how I'm going to get the co-op ones though. That could be tricky.

Also, the story is clearly set to continue, but will that be the Killzone game on the NGP? It would be a great hook! I don't know if we'll see another KZ game on PS3, I heard GG were starting a new game?

Saturday nights games were, hmmm, interesting! I was surprised to find myself on the opposite side to other BluR members (I didn't think that could happen) and the team balancing on some games was a joke! My last game (as G!ggs will know) was a 3V8 warzone where my side were pinned down within minutes, the game finished up 2v5 I think but basically I had no chance of getting out of the ISA spawn room

At least overall I got enough points for my next promotion and have fully unlocked Infiltrator BUT, how come I couldn't select any of the secondary weapons? I was hoping to fire off some rockets at G1ggs but the weapon wasn't available!?!? I tried another Infiltrator secondary weapon and that wasn't available either.

All these map problems could be fixed if they returned to the KZ2 server list so you can see what games are running, what game mode and how many players. I don't know why they dropped that for KZ3.

You don't need to replay the game to go back and get trolphies that you missed. After you beat the games you can select what chapter and section you want to start. All I did was select the chapter I need the trolphy in. When I got all the trolphies in need I went back a beat it on elite. Playing co-op does not effect you saved game.

This game totally kicks ass. I have been playing non stop for the past 5hrs and i can't put it down. A big improvement over the previous one and one of the best graphics i've seen on the ps3. I know a good number of people found killzone 2 a bit hard, but , trust me those issues have been taken care of....game play is totally cool. Kudos to guerila games on this baby. Haven't finished the single player campaign yet so haven't started online yet. I'm currently playing KZ2 multiplayer and that itself is a blast. So many games to play and so little time , whew! Great, that's how it was with KZ2 when I revisited various levels to pick up intel and shields, I was hoping to do the same, but I read something that implied that your game save was overwritten if you revisited an earlier level; basically the game would carry on from that point and you were unable to visit the later levels you'd already completed!! I didn't think it sounded right. I'll try to pick up a couple more tonight. Like you, I'll go for Elite once I've picked up all the others.

@ral b Killzone 3 should get even better online soon; once some new features and some bugs have been fixed. I loved KZ2 online, Tharsis and Radec were my usual maps.

Getting that Plat was more annoying than I had anticipated. I was having a spot of trouble with Now You See Me having not invested any real points into Marksman and constantly being placed into uneven games. Ended up in a 1 v 3 on Concourse bum rushing the spawn campers in an attempt to do a cloaked melee. Constant failure called for more drastic measures. I walked out the northern exit, cloaked, pulled the pin on a grenade and ran straight at the fellow that had just dropped me. Ding.

With so many skilled players on the game now, I reckon I'm going to struggle to get the multiplayer trophies; I should have gone for them when the game was new and everyone was a noobie.

59% through the trophies now though, I wish had more time to play the game, but I'll get there eventually.

Just a quick bit on the ending:

[Show spoiler] GG's head guy said of the mysterious figure at the end; it can't be Orlock, he's dead and Stahl surely died in the nuke, it can't be Visari's daughter because the troopers said "sir", so who is it? We'll find out at some point, he said. It makes me wonder if the PSP2 Killzone game will conclude the story, or will there be a Killzone 4 on PS3??

I had 38 deaths in a match a couple of nights ago. A bullet only needed to go near me and I died, and I'm not even talking about being sniped here. Was seriously p!ssing me off
