Can we please can it with the dub crap already? Make another thread for all of it; the re-dubs, the difference between new and old, Dan being a douche, etc., etc. It gets in the way of actually talking about Eva. Page after page after page of crap about English dubs has zero substance. There’s been more dub crap than actual talk about the show/movies and the releases. Give us a freakin’ break already. Please.

Wow I didn’t realize the Amazon dubs would be disappointing to you guys. So will I be able to get away with cracking open the first three Funi dubs and then watching the final movie on amazon? Or does the consistency matter more? Just looking for the best experience for someone who hasn’t watched any of the rebuild films yet, but also has access to the Funi Blu-rays…

The Amazon dub didn't bother me. It was slightly better than the Netflix dub.

I thought the Amazon dubs were good. They weren't punched up like the older dubs but it worked with the movies. There are a few awkward script choices but you can only win so much against Khara and it was great seeing a lot of the old cast come back after the Netflix dub. It didn't seem as stilted as the Netflix dub either.
