As I mentioned earlier, I ordered 16 titles from Amazon and I ordered them all at the same time. They are arriving in six separate packages over today and tomorrow. My orders always seem to involve as many Amazon warehouses as possible.

These six arrived today in two packages:

The week is off to a good start.

I have both of these Movies in My Collection, I've seen Rogue many times beginning with my IPTV Love that Movie. I really liked Crawl, but I have only watched it once.

I have this one:

It is 6 minutes longer than your digital version, but not in HD. I prefer having the extended cut.

Someone mentioned The Shallows as a comparison earlier but I found that film far superior to Crawl in terms of ‘in peril’ films.

Speaking of which, have you or any other members seen Beast yet? Considering a purchase if we get that in 4K.

I watched it. Thought it was decent. Liked Sharlto Copley's performance but the family drama felt excessive and there were some parts that were hard to believe. I preferred the other Idris Elba movie that was playing.

That was me. I also think Shallows is a superior film, but there definitely was a similar vibe, although no Blake Lively in a bikini.

5 hrs later and Chad did wonders with the JVC. I loved the picture before, but it is now perfect. He left all of the before and after measurements and current settings on a jump drive. Best $600 I have spent to tweak the system.

Side note, I asked him if he calibrated any of the new Sonys, to which he replied “Yes” and without asking for an opinion, he said that they can’t touch the JVC due to the tone mapping. He said that they are marginally better than last years models, but still are lacking. Thanks to Heavyhitter for suggesting him and his services.

I have only watched this on blu-ray. I have since acquired the 4K disc; maybe a rewatch is in order?

The Shallows is nothing like Crawl one is on the ocean the other in a flooded basement. Then you have Blake Lively in a Bikini....No Comparison!

What the two films have in common is that they are both "damsel in distress" movies with aquatic creatures threatening them. We all know the settings are different.

I thought Crawl sucked. I do have the Rogue BD import, though. I think Beast will only be getting a BD release and no 4K disc a la The Black Phone.

It’s still a woman, a creature and about survival. It’s very similar.

I can't find a BD for Rogue (2007) from any country at this website. Where is yours from?
