For $13 a season on average I figured why not. A good friend recommended this show to me. If I end up not liking it I'll be gifting this to them. :-P

Just 1 today...

I'm not sure if anyone was aware of this, but this was just released in October and is already out of print. A lot of Best Buy stores still seem to carry this, but I couldn't find any in my area, so I ordered a brand new copy from a seller on eBay for like $30. The price will likely keep going up, so I wanted to get it before it gets too crazy. Fox recalled this release because during one of the early scenes in the film, two characters are out getting groceries and are confronted by the nosey town cop. A missing persons board is spotted several times before the cop posts a missing persons poster on the board himself. Apparently, one of the posters used on the board is the real life missing persons poster of Stacie Purcell. Stacie was officially declared missing on October 30th, 2013, although her body was found several days later. She had died from a massive heart attack and slipped into a river shortly after. She would be 66-years-old today. When Stacie's family heard that her picture was being used in a horror film without their consent, they launched action to prevent her image from being used anymore. They also claim that seeing her missing persons photo in a horror film has caused them pain and suffering. Part of the legal proceedings against Fox directs the production and distribution company to pull Wrong Turn 6 from all future pressings and broadcasts until the matter is resolved. I know some may feel that it is in poor taste to buy this because of the situation, but I have to be honest, I'll probably never see it anyway. I bought this for the "rarity" factor. As you can see, it is still brand new/factory sealed and I plan on keeping it that way. I'm really in no hurry to see this one, so I will just wait until it is re-released with the photo edited out and will pick up the re-release when the time comes.
