So this is an Apple TV app problem. There wasn't a second English option, only English (US). Damn.

I finally finished the last rebuild film and think it’s a mixed bag. I felt that all the meta-fictional stuff was a bit much and pulled me out of the film. The last 30 min feels like a rush to give development to various characters to provide an emotional and thematic send off. Instead of focusing on being the final film in a series of movies, it decides to focus on it’s place as the finale to a franchise. It lacks cohesion and is only somewhat satisfying in regards to its themes. The CG ranged from good to jarring. On a positive note, “One Last Kiss” is an absolute banger.

Really hoping I don't have to nab this directly from GKids. All of GKids other CE/LE preorders have been available through Canadian retailers tho, so not too worried

If you're watching the movies for the first time through Prime, might as well make that your default. The Funi dubs are exceptional enough, nevermind the Khara interference as of the third film, but they're not gonna do a dub for the fourth movie; watch 'em if you must for evaluation purposes.

Okay, thanks for the input. I didn’t want to unwrap the Funi Blu-ray just yet, if the Amazon dubs would suffice.

Tried registering an account on GKIDS and it’s non-stop errors at every turn.

Really not feeling confident about this launch if their service is so trash that it cannot even handle account registration hours before launch.

Just imagine the disaster when the set does go live.

Does anyone think that the sets will actually be limited to just the GKids store? Rightstuf will surely get them as well.

Unless they announce the Ultimate Edition is limited to a certain quantity then I would expect to see it listed elsewhere (i.e. Rightstuf, Target, etc.) We’ll obviously know more tomorrow at 12pm EST.

For sure. Even then if it is super limited I would assume there would be a time when pre-orders go live as well. I wouldn't worry too much.

Just to give everyone a heads up, I won't be waking up until a few hours after the pre-orders go live, so any information that comes to light that may or may not be updated in this thread's front page is just because I haven't had the time.

I'll update it as soon as I can tomorrow :-)

That is what I did. Just went to GKIDS and made an account there. Can't wait for the site to be slammed tomorrow lol.

I think it’s possible that the announcement of the release in detail is tomorrow and pre-orders the day after. Not sure if it’ll actually happen, but I think that’s pretty likely.

I hope so. It would be nice to get all the details about the release before I have to decide on pulling the trigger.

Very much the same. Shout is handing the home video distribution, right? They tend to be hush-hush on details until the last few weeks before release date.
