Thoughts, consensus on Primal Scream? Worth the $14.99 it's going for?

Awful film. Some decent FX, otherwise boring and forgettable.

Don’t worry... that just means they sold 200 copies of said movie last week.

Where's Bill in all of this? Hey, Bill, stop playing with your banana and weigh in on this. First order of business, fire Ruined as your and Dee Ef's PR person.

Which ones? I'm pretty sure Spontaneous Combustion was $6 cheaper before, but I honestly don't have the energy to figure out any of the others. However, I know what I'm not seeing, and that's lower base prices across the board, which means we can all see that the promise to drop the prices to compensate for the new shipping charge was a complete lie.

Dark Force is the one who gave him the credit for implementing this stupid new pricing policy.

I get the impression Defalco has him locked up in a closet somewhere while he picks the apartment/storage units for everything Bill’s worth, only letting him out drugged for the occasional live stream.

I enjoyed Primal Scream. It’s not a “good” movie, but you’ve never seem anything like it...

3 of the 5 titles I waited to order with SOAWN went up. One was Spontaneous Combustion. The others were. Death Journey ($8.99 to $10.99) & Trapped ($22.95 to $23.95)

At least by the time we can get SOAWN I should be eligible for free shipping. .

I second this, and the private eye character was a cool cat to hang out with for an hour and half or however long it was. I wasn't bored at all by it at least.

This is one of my favorite dark force titles... one of those sci-fi noir films. Super low budget cheese but a lot of fun, a really unique movie. Definitely worth it if up for something completely different from the norm.

Really enjoyed Primal Scream. It's about as low budget as you can get, but the writing isn't bad and the movie genuinely loves the world it's created.

I'm glad I have it.

We should request a wellness check just to make sure Bill is still OK.

They have elected to do away with the Early Bird tiered pricing on SOAWN:

Quote:
“WE THE PEOPLE!”
The people have spoken and Dark Force is listening. So due to popular demand we will not be doing tier pricing on the new release Screams Of A Winter Night. We will set the price and that’s where it will remain. Furthermore this weekend we will turn to the People once again and take a vote on whether or not to bring back Banana Man and the Live Feeds. Don’t miss this huge PEOPLE’S WEEKEND at Dark Force and make your vote count!
Wise move. Now, don't get all crazy with the price, Dark Force. There's a reasonable hot spot people will pay. Do you want to price to sell or price to have inventory? Let's move some units and not have this thing sit in bucket list hell.

Compare Screams of a Winter Night to "House of the Dead", another anthology from that era sold by Vinegar Syndrome. Even with a fancy slip and all the VS Love, that title ain't moving at $22.99. You don't want that, Dark Force. Be smart, not greedy, and the buyers will support you.
