Sounds like I'm in good shape to place my store pick up in the morning asap without any worries of a sell out by 9 am.
Plus I'm concerdering this a birthday present... to me. Which it really is.

At least the line "throwing him out of a plane" is fixed in the DVD/BD version to normal speed. He spoke that line too fast in the theater.

Look it up on youtube.

By the way, is the steelbook case a matte or glossy finish?

BB steel is a 2BD+DVD set right? Right now blu-ray.com has it listed as 2BD only.

Sometimes Amazon sucks. The guy wouldn't price match Walmart's. Also insists that they do not have a price match policy.

I mean if someone gets a price match . . . there must me something wrong here. I'm tired of stores having Indians as their chat/phone services. He also insists they do not have a facility there? Well, crap I have a shit ton of Walmarts around. Before that he tells me they do not price match websites. Then he tells me another thing. Can't we have a freggin competent person working on the other end? So stupid!

They don't actually price match. What you want to be asking for is a refund if the difference since otherwise you can cancel your order and purchase the item elsewhere. Maybe I'm having success due to being a Prime member and because I've gotten quite a lot lately. They're also going to price match the trilogy box set, but after the fact. I get the standard answer everyone else gets, that there is no price match policy for movies. But I guess they're trained to go through the person's history and see if they're a good customer. I went two for two with different customer service people. Amazon has been pretty good to me lately. But I'll also say that I'm purchasing sooooo much as a Prime member. The low prices and free shipping are a big thing for me. They also price matched a $5 Disney coupon on the Finding Nemo 3d combo. So I'm on a real role with Amazon lately. They seem to be liking me and I seem to be responding by spending lots of money, lol.

Try not to be an ugly American, dude. If your racist tone comes thru loud and clear here, imagine what that poor fella felt like. If you don't like jobs going overseas, b*tch at your congressman and refuse to shop at stores that outsource, but leave the worker drones alone. He's just a guy trying to do his job and support himself and his family.
Amazon does NOT price match. Never has. There's a link on each product page where you can report a lower price. If enough folks report it, they'll lower their price - maybe. I reported Wal-Mart's price three days ago when I also reported it here. Then I cancelled my Amazon preorder. But I didn't give anyone a hard time or call anyone any names.

Just returned from Walmart and yes, they do have the Cowl edition....in very limited quantities. Got there at 11:55pm and there were two other customers lingering around for the release; not sure if they were there for the Cowl, but they left with the standard release at ~12:05am. The only ones waiting there for the Cowl edition were me and another guy. The CSR was kind enough to head to the storeroom to retrieve the two copies they had; naturally, one for myself and one for the other guy. The CSR believes those were the only copies on hand at this location. I got #26,678 of 35,000 (not sure about the other guy), and it did ring up as $24.96. I'm getting up early for Best Buy's opening at 8:00 to see if I can secure another copy for someone. I would post pics, but my digicam won't cooperate, even with fresh batteries, so that's on my shopping list.

Don't know; I didn't bother to check. The CSR was loading all of those copies in the rows marked $24.96, but I'm not sure if that's Walmart's standard price.

Has anyone else noticed the Digital Copy of The Dark Knight Rises that appeared on CinemaNow because of the prologue issue suddenly disappeared now? The Dark Knight Rises shows up on Flixter (though oddly won't stream) but CinemaNow is missing? Are they taking it away because it's not a proper purchase/redemption?

Exactly there we go thanks. One can say, hey it's a 2$ difference but then again the tax gets higher too. Unfortunately my collection OCD needs the steelbook to complete the trilogy.
