Ordered the Halloween and Evil Dead steelbooks this morning and they both shipped a few hours later.

Ordered the steelbook @ Best Buy for in-store pickup. Got to the store and realized the case is really damaged under the clear slipcover. Of course, the store had no copies available to exchange.

Another BB across town supposedly had 5 copies left. I figured, why not. I tried calling the store on my drive; no one picked up. I got there, no copies available anymore.

So I returned the damaged steelbook, ordered one online, and now I hope for the best.

Picked up the Best Buy Steelbook earlier today.

I didn't have a copy of the initial release, so I was happy this got released again.

I highly doubt he wanted to do without the theatrical version. I’m sure he meant he wanted the option of the theatrical cut with the added stuff.

As others have said this is one gorgeous looking steelbook. I did store pick up with my copy. Looked like they had about 5 in all at the day's outset. By the time I showed up there were just a couple left. Evil Dead 1 and 2 on the other hand seemed to be in shorter supply. All copies were gone. Still showing available online. I wouldn't tempt fate waiting on either of these. Both look amazing.

Best Buy rep told me that it’s going to ship Oct 6. I only spent 5 bucks on this and I am not a steelbook collector by any means. I wanted the Code and the book itself looks really nice. If it gets canceled on me, I get my rewards back and can buy another movie I don’t own. No big loss for me.

Shipment was delayed, but was able to do an in-store pick up a few towns over instead. It’s a beaut!

anyone else have issues with sound dropping out here and there? it's for like a millisecond, but it happens frequently and is super annoying.

It does not, redeems HD. Possibly because Vudu (and FandangoNow) only have the movie as HD. But some tech people think the code will never redeem UHD, i.e. even if Vudu adds the UHD version, it will still redeem HD (unlike other updates where the code redeem changed once Vudu added the UHD version).
