Walmart has Black Friday special in Canda, it's Before Christmas sale

I got some 25$ blus for 12.50 and some 30$ blus for 14.83. Thet have a ton of blus reduced to low prices.

It's $16.99 at Best Buy in the states. Tomorrow it goes up to $19.99. I have some rewards zone $ from my stereo purchase. I am debating if I should pick it up or not. I have been saving it for when Gladiator goes on sale or when Mortal Kombat on PS3 is released.

you should. it blends so perfectly with the '30s makes the front sound stage seamless.

I was going to get it now, but I just remembered that I have $228 in my Pay Pal account for our Blu-ray Madden League. Good thing we are in the Playoffs so I can distribute the money to our owners that way I don't have to use that money. Once we we finish the Playoffs in a week or so. I will get that Center channel as soon as we are done.... unless I just withdraw money from my bank account and transfer it now.

whatever you gotta do to get it. I'd be at the bank taking the money out first thing in the a.m. getting new speakers is like Christmas morning for me. Can't sleep and can't wait.

Heck yeah! I always wanted tower speakers so hopefully this will be my final upgrade for a few years. I still can't believe I moved everything to the bedroom using a 7.2 setup.

Just picked up a MBM12 MK2 (HSU mid bass module). I'm very curious to see how it will sound with my RC-10's. I really don't have a sub adequate to cover below 35hz in conjunction with it but still should be fun. Currently using an ES8 for the sub with the RC-10's but I'll take it offline for the experimentation.

I'll probably run the MBM12 in sealed mode.

edit: Running the RC-10's with the MBM in sealed mode. Awesome on the Tron soundtrack

yeah, I'm missing the low end but it sounds so intense, feeling the textures from the synth

once the low end is in place I'll be set.

I can't start a new thread for this on the Deals forum since I'm still a new member, but I just picked up two CF-30s last night for $119.99 each at Newegg. Based on my research, this is a really, really good price.

I see this morning they're back up to $200 each, but it might be worth keeping an eye out if you're in the market for these.

I have noticed that price happens every weekend lately. That is a fantastic deal, for a very good entry level speaker. It will be hard to find a deal like that on the CC-10, but hey, with all the money you saved on the CF-30s, thats more to put towards the CC-10.

I will continue to save while I keep an eye out for any deals on the CC-10. Hopefully I'll get lucky and find a deal. If not, no big deal. I just may have to wait a bit longer to pick one up.

Fedex should be dropping my RC-30's tomorrow. I can't wait. I will get the matching RC-LCR center soon.

I "might" put my C-C100 center on sale, that's if I don't give them to my GF LeAnn.

I do have the C-C50 as well that I might get rid of too.

awesome man! I can't wait too. they will need a good break in period so dont expect amazing bass right from the start. mine loosened up after some time and i was amazed at the difference. the treble changed as well. it went from mildly bright and metallic to smooth and not in your face. After 50 hrs approx i started to notice mild changes overall till the rest of the break in period

So I unpacked it, took some pics. The only time consuming part was getting my speakers and the spikes straight onto the carpet.

So far the only difference with the RC-30, and my C-C100 is that the towers are slightly more "clear" than my center channel. Nothing crazy, but I'm not sure if I still need the matching RC-LCR center channel. Right now it sounds fine to me in that regard.

It's raining outside so this pic is kind of dark.

Also this might be a preference thing, but would it make a difference if I put my subs outside of the fronts? Or it's fine where's it's located?

It all depends on room bounderies for the subs try and find out if it works for you BD has a nice sticky on subwoofer placement https://forum.blu-ray.com/subwoofers...ml#post740782,. You have to experience with subs and BTW the RC-30 will reveal more details than C-20 for music for sure even with movies, once broken in they will beg for more power, Make sure you listen to them at moderate levels for a good 50 hours if not more.

The RC-30 should have a pretty good timber match vs the C-100 as I said but truly the LCR is the best match and worth the upgrade, also give superior off axis performance vs the C-100, sound should be even mor uniform moving yourself from one side to another you will notice the LCR is more consistant.

Seeing all this talk about the LCR, I'm itching to get my hands on one to go along with my RC-10's. I may have a job in the next week or so, finally! so I may be ready for one soon.
