The theater got much nicer where I live. I go more often now that it reopened. They added couch type nice seating. The thing I love most about it is the assigned seating. The screen is high because the floor is flat and the best seats are really in the rear if it's not crowded. I haven't seen it crowded though since the Hunger Games. It's not unusual to be the only one there or have only one other set of people.

If it's not crowded why do I love the assigned seating ? ..... Because seeing it's not crowded gets me excited for the movie. And because really there aren't many good places to sit. There is no centered seating at all.

I actually got emotional when I walked back in the cinema after COVID.

I know what you mean. My local Odeon is a fairly new cinema having only opened just before Christmas 2016 as part of a new shopping development that was built just outside town. When it closed during Covid, part of me was fearing it may never recover again even once restrictions were lifted, but was really pleased to see it very busy again when things returned to normal.

I have not been to the cinema in years and now it is too risky for me to go, but, hey, I have my memories and a decent set-up to enjoy movies at home.

My collection has become a mess. There's a spot under the window I could use for another cabinet, 90 inches wide.

Closest one with doors (Has to have doors.) I've been able to find is this: https://www.amazon.com/Media-Cabinet.../dp/B08BFLNCG6

The window sill is 34 inches high, so the cabinet would be about three inches higher, and I'd only be able to put one of them there because it's slightly too wide.

Wish I had a friend carpenter.

Alternatively, I could just get an open media cabinet and cover it with a big bedsheet. Just need to keep dust and kitchen fumes from getting in there.

This last three years has taught me that. I’m always grateful for films as they give me that escapism I need. They get me through a lot.

Wow, I don't think many people will take the advice and skip it. I'll certainly wait for it on home video unless I hear from someone who wants to go see it in a better theater than I have near me.

You know I’m not a fan of title lol. I heard something about avatar 2 getting a sequel named the way of water and my first reaction was how the hell did avatar the last air bender get a second film lolz.
