My personal fav is From Dusk Till Dawn, but there's too many genres to objectively pick a best. FDTD is a completely different movie than IWAV or Nosferatu for example.

I would put that among the best-- and this is my favorite TV movie
of all time--- the '79 version with David Soul and James Mason just to be clear that I don't mean the atrocious Rob Lowe remake!

+1 Salems Lot was pretty creepy. I always get cold shivers every time I watch that movie.

My second best vampire movie is Bram Stoker's Dracula. Winona Ryder looked cute in that movie

What does that word mean?

I also liked the newer version as well. If both versions released on bluray, I would buy them in a heartbeat. I still like the older version better though

LOL Queen of the Damned WAS Interview with the Vampire 2, considering how poorly it did in theatres I doubt we'll ever see another vampire chronicles movie again.

Atrocious means crappy, poorly done or just plain horrible. I think.

Hey, From Dusk Til Dawn is not doing to badly which is my pick. To bad I can only pic one. So here are my honorable mentions: 30 Day of Night, The Lost Boys, Let the Right One In and Vampyr (I got the Criterion version of that one).

I have to agree with this. Hammer came out with some of the best horror films, and Horror of Dracula is one of their best.

I'd say it's a tie between Bram Stoker's Dracula and From Dusk Till Dawn.

Normally I wouldn't cop out like that but they're such different types of movies I couldn't pick one over the other.

both are books from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, excellent reads i might add. Interview ported to movie well because it followed the book closely (more closely then most movies that are based on books), Damned was not and it ended up sucking.
i agree though, it would have been great if Neil Jordan intended to put all titles into film.
