I had absolutely NO problems at all navigating Nordic Sound with the TV turned off.

I think it's a brilliant idea to use the color buttons of the remote to choose between DTS MA 5.1, PCM 5.1 and PCM 2.0. And you don't have to stop playback to do this. I hope this becomes the standard for future music BD's.

hai some tips for Nordic Sound audio!

When Morten Lindberg send me first few sampler discs I really didn't know what to expect. Divermenti surely swept the floor with quite some awards including Grammy, but sometimes even if you are a true believer and lover of classical music it might be hard to connect on the higher plane with the musical and specially artist manifesto. Music is about feelings and emotions. A lot of contemporary recordings simply fail in their path due to lack of presenting and connecting the listener to the inner world of composer and performer. Not to sound prophetically naive, but we do want to enrich our limited time with something emotional and profound.

Thumbs up 192K from 2L

I just came accross to some technocratic comment on Amazon about use of 192K sample rate for this recording and would like to give my Norway brothers a hand here.

The digital bits and samples values are nothing if you dont have the artistry of audio engineering work behind it.
And if you learn more about 2L recordings you will find out that production of these releases are greatly satisfy use of 192K sample rate to the benefit of listening experience like no other recordings.

All the Best,

Alexander

Are these 2L releases Profile 3.0 compliant? Meaning, whenever someone finally makes a standalone BD-A player, will these releases play in it?

Profile 3.0 seems to be vaporware at this point. Each label that has interest in audio-only BD releases are doing their own thing.

Just a heads-up, 2L's latest release Black Bird, piano and clarinet duets, is on sale for preorder at CDUniverse for a good price.

http://www.cduniverse.com/productinf...tyle=classical

Note that it is hybrid SACD only. No Blu-ray.

Thanks,

I prefer blu-ray and hybrid SACD in the case but more expensive like $30 than half price for single format.

I can't read germany or dutch language from amazon.de. I just ordered it and shipped.
