Well, it's in the mail already and I can't for the best of it believe that this isn't better than the DVD...

I'll judge for myself.

I'd have to say this is one of the worst films I have seen in awhile. The ending just pissed me off to no end. It was lame. I will pass on this for sure.

That's funny. I loved HT but thought the twist was WACK.

I think Roger Ebert nailed it when he said the movie has a plot hole so big you could drive a truck through it, and it does in fact drive a truck through it.

I'll probably still pick up the BD after the bad PQ reviews. Wasn't it supposed to be noisy and over saturated?

hehe, no movie is perfect, and I just enjoy this for the pure mayhem and gore. It's nasty and has that old Italian style to it.

No top 10, but worth a Blu-ray purchase.

No, it is region locked. Got it today and double checked as it wouldn't play in my Elite 05, so it needed to go into the Momitsu.

Also, as far as PQ goes, it looks EXACTLY as it should. Briefly checking out the review mentioned above, ALL the complaints stem from intentional decisions by the film makers.

Anybody on the fence, who can indeed play Region B discs, should not hesitate to snatch this one up as it is vastly superior to the domestic DVD i had, and it is fully uncut to boot just as the DVD was.

Can anyone verify whether the subtitles are within the image or the letterbox? I ordered this from Amazon without checking this issue first...will enjoy it either way...but for scope purposes hope they are within the image.
