We should also list tips for proper beer tasting. Like what snacks to use and other helpful ideas.
Mine: Start with lighter beers and work into darks as the darks will overpower your tastebuds and you won't appreciate the full flavor of a light after that. |

Been touting the deliciousness of czechvar for some time. Ever since Budweiser started distributing it, its much fresher, but the price went up a few bucks per 6-pack.
I think I'll throw up a few great Czech beers that can be found in the US ![]() ![]() For those interested. 1/2 liter bottles only! Eggenberg ![]() Last edited by Slec; 05-31-2009 at 12:56 PM. |

I don't drink anything too fancy.
Usually Pilsner Urquell, Heineken, Blue Moon, Corona, Stella Artois, etc. For casual drinking with my buddies, i usually enjoy Miller products. I haven't really developed much of an appreciation for the finer beers you guys are posting. I have time though, i'm only 22 years old! Can anyone suggest a nice tasty beer for me, at a reasonable cost? I really enjoy the beers i posted above, but i can handle heavier beers. |

in the brewpub I like
![]() for bottled, I would have to go with the popular choice ![]() ![]() ![]() are my favourite (though I used to also really enjoy l'eau benite which they don't make any more). Like some one said, they are Belgian abbey style beers and extremely strong (maudite is 8% and FDM is 9%) then again the beer fest is next week so maybe I could add some other interesting choices Last edited by Anthony P; 05-31-2009 at 03:44 PM. |

![]() It's a readily available (in stores and pubs), nicely smooth, darker beer. |

As for the topic at hand, I like Harp beer by Guiness the best so far. I've tried a lot of variety from all over. The worst I've had has to be Gulden Draak from Belgium. YUCK! P.S. Schultzy, Go Pens! ![]() |
