I see I never checked back with this thread.
I'm going to look at my TB bd right now and see if there are any extras.
EDIT: ok here we go; I don't speak German so someone else can translate.
this is what the back says:

Kultige Extras

Copy to Go; Interview mit Terry G and Michael P.; Interview mit Terry G. and Terry J.--
"The Two Terry's"; Dokumentation "The Directors--The Films of terry gilliam; The handmade story;
TB scrapbook; 3 Originaltrailer; Biografien von John Cleese, Sean Connery, Shelley D., Ian Holm,
Michael P., und Regisseur Terry G; Bildergalerie

pretty explanatory even not knowing German actually.
honestly I can't imagine the UK bd topping this German bd, but I haven't seen it.

Is the German blu-ray crisp and clean? Eventhough, it's 1080p, the UK blu-ray is very scratchy and hairy all over the place. It's probably the dirtiest blu-ray that I own.

it is not totally crisp and clean as far as the print.
I haven't watched it in a while, but I do remember thinking it looked very good as far as clarity and detail, but had obvious print stuff that they did not attempt to digitally "clean up".
lots of little tiny white dots pop up often.
for an early 80's film though, it's one of the best looking bds I have seen as far as clarity of detail and ability to resolve dark scenes without looking like a total mess.
what you're describing sounds a bit worse actually, but, of course, I'm not sure.
I don't recall thinking it looked "very scratchy" by any means.
btw: it is a locked b release if that matters to you.
I had to go region free long ago to avoid going insane with all the amazing bds in Europe.

Cinemasquid to the rescue again. I seem to remember reading somewhere on some forum that the UK and GE look basically the same, and the specs seem to reflect that. Main "advantage" to the GE would be the 5.1 bump, though for this flick...

Edit: GE also has the best extras - dvdcompare

No problem. I don't own any release but I'll probably spring for the German if I decide to get this one.

There's two versions of the Time Bandits German bluray.

What's the difference between them ?

The one with a Pink banner has a Digital Copy (2 discs) and the one with a Yellow banner doesn't (movie only disc).
