What annoys me is that i'm sure (almost positive) that when HP: HBP is released on blu-ray / DVD it will have a different cover again. Too bad if you want to actually make a collection that looks like a collection.

I Picked up the box set with all 5 in it. Also has the new cover art that I'm not to fond of.

Could someone please check whether the HP1 quality is any better than the previous relase or is it the same transfer.

The first three covers look terrible. I've seen all of them at the shops. The fourth and fifth look awesome, though, in my opinion. As much as I love the HP films, I'll be waiting to pick up the Ultimate Collector's Edition of the first 2 movies. EzyDVD has them listed for November 18, coinciding with the BD/DVD release of the 6th movie. Will be picking all 4 up!

Arent these new Ultimate editions the Extended versions of the movies? Doesnt that mean a new transfer/encode?

Possibly, but this thread was about the rerelease with new cover art from earlier this year and not the yet to be released ultimate editions.

It sucks that they still haven't released the updated cover for HP HBP. I've got the first 5 Blurays and haven't purchased the 6th as I want them to look like a collection.

Has anyone heard if they will release the 6th movie with the new cover artwork?
