There's a show called Criss Angel but I was told that he's not in the show and that its nothing like Mind Freak.

Here are my recommendations being a local:
  • Magic - Penn & Teller or if you want a more traditional magic show, go with Lance Burton or David Copperfield
  • Comedy - Terry Fator is great; Wayne Brady is always funny; Jay Leno is often in town; of course, there are always the comedy clubs which are hit or miss depending on the acts, I recommend Riviera Comedy Club
  • Stage Production - My top 5 are:
    1. KA
    2. Blue Man Group
    3. Mystere
    4. O
    5. LOVE (if you like the Beatles, this one would probably move up the list)
  • Headliners - Cher puts on a great show or check out Barry Manilow or Bette Midler if you like classics. Also, pretty much every single performer comes through Vegas, so check Ticketmaster to see what bands/artists will be here during your visit
  • Musicals - Jersey Boys is fantastic, but Lion King is absolutely phenomenal; check out Phantom if you want a classic
  • Tribute - Legends in Concert is the standard, but if you like the Beatles, check out Fab Four Live; I wasn't that impressed with American Superstars
  • Dinner Show - Tournament of Kings
  • Adult - There are lots in this category. I actually enjoyed Zumanity (get there early!), but if you want the old school Vegas experience, go to Jubilee. I've heard fair reviews from Peepshow and Bite, but haven't seen them.
  • Other - The "V" Variety Show is cheap and depending on what acts they have lined up, can be a good show. Also recommend the Price is Right if you're into that kinda thing.

I saw his show last January. The best show in Vegas IMO. It's getting bad reviews cause fans were expecting the Mindfreak show on-stage. This is totally different. He teamed up with cirque du soleil so the show taps into his mind and is really psychedelic. And yes...he's in it throughout the hole thing. PM me if you want the show details.

'Love' is amazing, and if you like the Beatles at all, that jumps right up to incredible and a must-see.

I saw it last Christmas and am going to see it again next month when I'm out there.

Mama Mia's not there anymore (it was at Mandalay Bay). 'The Lion King' is there, now. Can't go wrong with that, either, though.

I've seen Cirque du Soleil Ka, O, and Mystere. I'd recommend all of them, they are all amazing in different ways.
Check out any one of the numerous magic shows too. Go to the big M&M thing on the strip where you can get show tickets the day of the show for like half price.
I have no interest in Blue Man Group but if you do, I've heard it's pretty cool.
