You "see" that, wow- I don't believe they started filming yet, that would be a good one.

How about the first Matrix film which was like 98% anime-based?

I watched the first Death Note movie and didn't really like it. I can't find the others one on the net to watch.

Death Note has the best story IMO if anybody has seen it.

The live action would be okay I guess. I would rather them do Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Appleseed, Bubblegum Crisis or even Patlabor first.

Keanu will kill this movie. They need to cast someone with a personality.

Do you really know the character? I think Keanu Reeves matches the calm-cool very well.

I don't think anyone can fight like that in reality. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see fight sequences done full CG just because I don't believe anyone can really move like that.

I'd rather have them be full CG anyway than change the style completely anyway.

I do believe they are doing both Ghost in the Shell and Akira. These ones should also translate to live action rather well.

I read he went after this roll, and was not just offered it. He trained LONG and HARD for Matrix, so I believe we will see a good delivery. Constantine was very close- that was "given up" attitude, and Spike needs "don't care." The fighting can be taught. It always seemed like an almost drunken swagger with a tight punch or kick at just the right moment. I was thinking something like a combination of Jet Li at the end of the One (the good guy) and Chan's Drunken Master.

I've read that he practices Jeet Kune do, don't know if that was ever actually said in the show. Sounds kinda like what you just said to me though, seems like I remember one time either in Dragon, or Bruce lee himself describing keeping the body loose until you strike and tightening your fist. Something to that effect. Wish I could find it or remember where that was.

I know one of the episode he idenitified some Nunchakus as the way of the dragon model. So He was a bruce fan.

The skill is out there, and they will find them and bring them in to teach and consult. They NEED the Firefly feel on this one-- could be a great flic.
