oh and a competent director who can effectively shoot and edit an action scene with IMAX cameras, the one's on display in film 2 - were shoddy and repetitive.

hmmm....more robots fighting would be nice.

Oooh! Ooh! and LESS human interaction!

I find that if Robots are fighting each other and advancing the story by themselves, it helps the movie as a whole. I base this on the original Transformers Movie of the 80's.

5-10 minutes of human is okay, but there better be 60-90 minutes of robots fighting in there too.

I'd like to see a well written plot.

1. A competent director who can mix the little human intervention necessary with the robots instead of trading action for plot.

2. A violent death scene for Sam Witwicky and his parents and bringing back Spike and his father if humans are to be involved.

3. If it means no Bay, done completely in animation. The robots after what feels like 6 hours all begin to look alike except for Optimus in live action.

All that preferably under 2 hours.
+1

Also, I'd definitely like Bumblebee to have a lot more dialogue in the third movie, and I want Sam or Optimus Prime to die and stay that way! That's it!

Oh, and I want Mikaela to give birth to Spike Witwicky.

I don't know why some say 90-100 minutes. But for $9.50 regular and $15.00 IMAX tickets, I say give me at least 2 hours for Transformers 3.

[Show spoiler]I actually nominate Steven Spielberg to direct and produce for Transformers 3. Let Michael Bay be the pyrotechnical manager.

because Entertainment Weekly stated the film should have been 94 minutes - tops! The suggested cuts and flaws are spot on.

Joel though would add a musical moment - kind of like what Raimi did in Spidey 3.

I'd like to see a different director, like maybe J.J. Abrams, and definately
someone else to write the script then the loser the wrote 2..

really it's not the writer's fault here, as I noted before it's the fault of the editor, there was so much that could have easily hit the cutting room floor.
