Mostly brand new. From time to time I do check out used video stores, and occassionally I come across to very good quality, clean used copies. I got my copy of "The Magic of Flight" (IMAX) used, yet it is so clean and all, it is practically brand new.

I for the most part buy used-like new condition so that it comes with everything...mainly amazon, but am now doing some buying here on the trading forum. It all comes down to money, I could manage to buy 1 new a month but buying used I'm able to buy 3 or 4 a month to really up my collection. Never had a problem with buying a used like new movie. Afterall the discs are supposed to virtually Indestructible.

Only bought new up to now, but as my collection grows, if I see a used one that I like, I will pick it up (only if it is in good order).

Remember, some titles will disappear, so buying used will become the only option for certain titles (Disney).

I've found some great deals buying used. I got the Godfather collection for 32.00 and Planet Earth for the same price.

depends on the price, sometime the new price is cheaper in Amazon than the used, it does not matter to me as long as it is like new.

Hi! to all,

NEW! everytime for me, I'm quite fussy when it comes to the condition of anything I buy whether it's a Blu-ray, DVD or game etc.

The only time I would ever consider buying something "used" is if it's an OOP (out of print) item that can no longer be found in the shops, other than that I will always buy brand new products.

Cheers!

Does it really matter? As long as it works then who cares if it's used or new? Besides since Blu-ray has scratch resistant coating on the discs it makes me feel a lot safer buying it no matter used or new.

50/50 for me. All my concert BD's are new, with only 1 used from trade. I buy a lot of PV's from Blockbuster and have had no issues at all.

I couldn't vote....you needed a 50/50 option!

Ditto here. I found a seller on eBay who only sells caseless/no cover art discs at a HUGE discount - I picked up the Curious Case of Benjamin Button for $8.50 SHIPPED the week it came out (yes, the seller is legit!).

I don't care what the case looks like. I care about the film, picture and sound quality of the presentation.

I guess that's why the extras on most of my discs languish unwatched...

Yeah I'm the same the way. It's just a personal thing but I just don't like buying anything used.

I always buy new. I don't care if the used price is killer, I don't want anyone's monkey paws on my discs.

Mostly new. I only have a couple of used ones. I'm too worried about how people care for movies and too anal about condition.

I am pretty sure that 60% of my collection consists of "used" blus. Either way, they work perfect and look just as amazing as new ones. Plus, they were vastly cheaper than if I bought them brand new.
