Um, no.

He said he wouldn't be at Wayne Enterprises as long as the machine was....entering his name at the end destroyed the machine and he had a smile on his face after because he knew Bruce did the right thing.

Well then I'm stupid, guess we'll have to wait and see if Morgan decides to come back for a 3rd stint.

Well, for all we know, the next Batman could begin filming next year. What is being neglected is that nowhere did he say Chris Nolan has anything to do with it. It could be that Oldman is under contract for a third Batman movie, and knows that Warner Bros. has decided to move ahead next year with or without Nolan.

Not trying to start a "panic", or be pessimistic. I'm just saying..

To be fair, there may have been one that was canceled. But yeah, a sequel is goign to happen soon, best to just wait it out and not worry about it.

Yea there actually was one in the works, but with the bad reputation of movie tie in games, iron man and hulk didnt help that summer... they scrapped it and began work on Arkham Asylum

I don't care when they do it... just do it... and do it RIGHT.

I personally like the Riddler... he's the only villian that an original plot could happen.

Mr. Freeze, Bane, Penguin, Catwoman... are same old tired stories.

At least with the Riddler they could approach it with any angle they wanted.

Now that Batman is on the run... they could really have the Riddler outsmarting everyone and being a true mastermind...

wow. Awesome. I hope so...

Oldman has now backed up a bit.

Maybe the studio had a go at him. Nolan will be back because of the money and why would he want to see someone else do it.

As for baddies, no Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Freeze, Poison Ivy. Do one that is not on film like clay face, killer croc etc.

Plus, no Robbin.

Nolan isn't your typical "do it for the money" kind of director. The two Batman movies are his only big blockbuster films, the money isn't what is important to him (though I'm sure he enjoys it quite a bit), the story is what it is about for Nolan. Just look at the movies he has made, all had fantastic stories and were all well conceived and executed ideas (imo). If he has a better story to tell than The Dark Knight in his mind, then he will tell it, if he doesn't, I don't think he will do another.

But I definitely hope he comes up with a killer idea and makes one more film.

I think Clayface would be hard to work in his world he has created, unless they made some creative changes to the character that is, and wasn't Killer Croc in the Gotham Knight animated shorts?

I still want Riddler, or even a villain Nolan dreams up all on his own, that would definitely be something fresh to the comic book genre.

Having been done before is not a crime. Look at The Dark Knight, with Joker and Twoface. Was that film any the worse for "re-using" villains?

Anyway, Killer Croc and Clayface are too unrealistic. They might be able to shoot for a more realistic Killer Croc, but I think even that would be too outlandish. A psycho in clown makeup is one thing, a psycho with a unique skin condition, who filed his teeth down to spikes is something else.

I don't think Nolan wants to use Robin anyways so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I do wonder if we'll see any of the other justice leaguers in the next movie, especially since I doubt Bruce can stay on the run for long alone.

Killer ideas are great and I am sure he is the one to come up with it. Look how they turned out after Burton left the previous series (comedy, camp goofy cr$p). As for the money/price, everyone can be bought for a price, some just have a higher one, he may also just want more control over it.

Never said he could not do old foes, but it would be nice to see new ones. Scarecrow and Ra's where done to great effect. Killer croc was in Gotham Knight's anima so he is already a character. It would be nice also to see less of the organized crime.

He already had darn near complete control over the first two. And after the cash cow The Dark Knight turned out to be, I have no doubt he will be granted 100% control over the third one. Alan Horn already said in an interview that Nolan would be the one director he is willing to let do whatever he wants.

Lucius said that he would help the one time but he wouldn't want to be around if that machine is still around. It was destroyed after they used it to track down the Joker. This leaves the door open to go either way.

Just watched TDK tonight, seriously hope that Oldman is right. I hope they can make a third, then I'd be ecstatic. But for now, I'm definitely happy with the first 2

Default Batman 3

i would really like Nolan and crew to take their time and create something amazing like TDK to wrap up the trilogy.i read somewhere that allegedly the title for the next film is "BATTLE FOR GOTHAM" and the villains are the riddler and catwoman.i hope that this is just net nonsense, we all know what happened the last time too many baddies were brought in,right??
