I had a ton of G.I. Joes in the 80's and have gotten quite a few of the 25th anniversary figures and some of the 12" Sideshow figures. I'll probably be picking up some from the new movie but not sure. The price of action figures has gotten rediculous though the last couple of years. It's deffinately targeting more collectors on most lines these days instead of kids.

Man You guys got me thinking how much fun I had with my GI Joe Hovercraft and the F-14 back in the day. I dont know what I liked more, my GI Joes or transformers.... I think the GI joes!!
Didn't they have kung fu action grip or something... hell.. those were still cool!

Only if you kept them in the package and never opened them. It's no longer collectible once it's been opened if the toy conventions are to be believed.

I had a Darth Maul action figure I bought for the sole purpose of collecting it. dont have any idea where that thing is... I think all my original SW stuff is buried somewhere in the basement of my parents house!! god only knows! they're probably having a beer w/ the GI Joes and Transformers in the lego house with the GO-bots as pets.
The fact I just thought of that means i probably need help!
