I compare the Wii more vs the PS2 than the PS3 or 360...

the PS3 and 360 are similar animals in what they offer...

the Wii vs the PS2 is a better comparison IMO..

Depends on what you're comparing imo.

The systems themselves, sure. In fact, I'd wager ot say the PS2 is more powerful than the Wii, system wise.

It's the remote that's really the advanced part, and the remote itself is what levels out the playing field...

You know how to get on my Christmas card list!!!!
I have worked in the AV industry in Aus, so know most of the AV haunts. I live in the second largest city and have actively gone looking for HD-DUD, I as yet haven't seen a player, XBOX add on (I have just recently found where I can see one) let alone a disc, but keep bumping into Blu-ray everywhere. I think I may have to switch to DUD (joke) as I have problems walking out of some stores with money in my wallet and no Blu-ray disc's in my hand. Even a week after the release of the XBOX add on I thought the games shops and places that sell the PS3 would have the XBOX add on on display - nup, the responser was we can order one in if you want (plenty of PS3's in stock).

im a few hours from melbourne and iv'e seen two HD dvds hidden within the blu ray section at the local target but the HMV (near flinders station with the dvds on the top floor) seems to have 50/50 blu ray to HD DVD)

But they are not smart, the press release was just more fluff from Sony. the PS3 was only ahead for 4 weeks ( the last week in March till the 3rd week in April ) there, since then, the piece of crap Wii has been spanking it down, instead of putting out crappy press releases, work on getting games out and work on Fox and Disney to start putting discs out since BD+ is done.

Eb games. JB at Chaddy didn't have them either. I had a look the day after the offical release and a week later.
