My friend is a manager at F.Y.E. and sold me a copy early. I was a big fan of the first one, and all I have to say is Oh My GOD. This movie is amazing. Everyone should buy 2 copies (1 for them and 1 for grandma). It is the essence of escapism.

I love the first one, and really didn't like the second. I felt it jumped the shark at the pool scene, and some of it was just too derivative from the first. They basically took the first, made everything twice as big, and threw it together. Sex scene in public? This time, we'll show twice as much and it'll be even MORE public! ... and on and on.

I just feel like the first one stands better by itself, and lumping this one with it diminishes it. It's a total cash-in.

i didnt like the first one & from the trailer i thought this looked incredibility stupid but i actually thought this was a much better movie. not tryng to take itself even slightly serious seemed to actually work. crank 2 does for action movies what robot chicken does for comedy.
